After a gut-wrenching loss to the Giants in week 10, the Cowboys looked to regroup in week 11. The front office did their part by re-signing a core group of potential FAs. One of those players was FS C. Sentef, an undrafted FA who was signed 4yrs ago off the street. Despite some early growing pains he stepped into the starting role and hasn't looked back. And against Washington, he played probably his best game as a pro.

On the Redskins' first possession, Sentef laid a hit on WR J. Morgan that separated him from the ball, forcing the receiver out of the game for a few plays and forcing a 3rd and long for the offense, which ended in the 1st of 2 sacks by DT S. Meeske. Later on in the game, Sentef would lay the wood on HB A. Morris, causing a fumble that was recovered by RGIII but, the message had been sent. This wasn't going to be a walk in the park for the 'skins. He was involved in another critical play, after RGIII found an open Garcon down the middle, SS J.J. Wilcox jarred the ball loose and Sentef was there to make the fumble recovery. But his best play of the game, came late in the 4th to secure the win. With RGIII looking to get his team back into the game, Sentef jumped up and picked off the pass downfield, then broke a few tackles and outran the rest of the offense for a 62yd pick 6.

The entire defense played an outstanding game. Despite QB J. Echavaria throwing for 200yds in the first half, he only threw for 40 in the 2nd, as Dallas resorted to running the ball with newly re-signed HB L. Dunbar. Echavaria is also one of the newly re-signed core players and he continued to display the knack for the big play, hitting 3 different receivers for TDs.

These 2 teams will go back at it in a couple of weeks. But Dallas is not looking ahead to that game. Up next, a road game vs the 5-4 Colts...
