One thing quickly became apparent in the week 14 matchup between the division rival Cowboys and Redskins. That was the mancrush QB J. Manziel has on his WR G. Jones. Can't blame the QB. All you can do is try your best at disrupting that chemistry. And though Jones enjoyed some success, outjumping CB M. Claiborne early on for a couple of big plays, it is the Dallas secondary that will cherish the memories of this game. Claiborne would redeem himself with 2 picks, both on balls intended for Jones, while FS B. Chruch would come up with 2 INTs of his own, the first almost returned for a pick 6.

For Dallas' offense, their success was on the ground. This could've been a huge game for D. Roach, if he hadn't gotten injured after his 8th carry, relinquishing the main ball carrier role to S. Hartman. He promptly got injured after his 10th carry and was replaced by veteran R. Hillman who rushed 9 times for a healthy 79yds and 2 scores, including a 47 yarder late in the 4th to put the game out of reach.

In week 15 the Redskins will host the Lions while Dallas heads home to host the division leading Giants.
