7 sacks, 3 INTs and 10 points. Those were the numbers put up by the Cowboys' Defense here at home in week 4 vs the Bengals. And yet, this game seemed a lot closer than those stats would lead you to believe. The Cowboys jumped out to a 10-0 lead thanks to the Romo to Witten connection and an early INT by OLB G. Francois. But Romo struggled in the 2nd qtr after injuring his right knee and the coaches made the decision to sit him and go with rookie QB D. Harvin. The result was a spark for the Cowboy offense which responded with another 10pts in the 2nd half while the defense didn't allow anymore points. A. Dalton just didn't seem to have the time needed to throw and faced too many 3rd and longs to overcome. Have to give the Cincy defense credit for keeping the game within reach.
However, Harvin did a nice job of managing the game, completing over 85% of his passes and not turning the ball over. The end result, a 20-10 Cowboy win.
Dallas will host the Eagles in week 5 while Cincy heads home to face the Ravens.
