This was a game to remember. You can call it a boxing match. But this was more like a heavyweight matched up with a lightweight. With the Broncos playing the heavy role, delivering blow after blow behind the hard running of L. Blount, who finished with 90yds and 3 TDs. While the Cowboys used more finesse: a slashing style of running by L. Dunbar, including a 10yd scamper in the 4th that would've made Fred Astaire proud, it gave Dallas the 1st down they needed to run out the clock. Dunbar had 91yds on the ground. While M. Austin used his quickness to beat one-on-one coverage and score twice, the last one a 54yd catch and run to give Dallas the lead with 1:51 left in the game.

Romo continued his resurgence, posting another solid QB rating and avoiding any crucial mistakes. Osweiler on the other hand, had 2 costly INTs, the 2nd coming in the 4th qtr which led to a Bailey FG. He did find Thomas & Thomas open quite a few times as they both did a good job of beating the coverage. However, Dallas' defense locked them down when it mattered the most, causing 3 incompletions on the Broncos' final drive to give the ball back to the offense.

Dallas now prepares for a Sunday night showdown with NFC East rival Washington Redskins...
