Never easy to go on the road and come home with a win. Especially difficult when your opponent is from the NY area. This game started out like your typical NFC East slugfest with the teams pounding away at each other. But in the 2nd qtr, with Dallas holding a 10-7 lead and the clock winding down on the 1st half, B. Carr picked off a Dalton pass intended for V. Cruz and returned it 23yds for the pick 6 and a 17-7 lead. On the very next offensive play for the Giants, A. Mims picked off Dalton, setting up Dallas for a commanding lead. Instead, Dallas ended the half without a score as a pass from Romo to a wide open Bryant in the endzone, was mysteriously called down at the 1yd line and time expired before the offense could snap the ball.
The missed TD wouldn't matter as Dallas scored another 17pts in the 2nd half, 7 of them coming on another bizarre play. B. Lampley would fumble a punt at the 19yd line. The ball was scooped up by O. Scandrick who raced 81yds for the TD.
Dalton would try to rally his offense but was harassed all game by the Dallas defense, finishing with 237yds and a score.
