With only 2 user games in the first 11 weeks of this inaugural season, you can bet the Dallas coaches are a bit nervous about how their team will fare during this stretch. And after an 0-2 start in simmed games, the future doesn't look so promising. Could Dallas be looking at a 2-8 record after 10 games? It's a possibility this team has to consider.

Now fast forward to week 12. That game vs the Panthers starts a stretch of 6 consecutive user games to end the season. Talk about dealing with two extremes. It's an adjustment dealing with the new format. But one thing the Cowboys' opponents can be sure of is that no matter their record, this team is looking to win EVERY game they play in. So don't expect any benching of starters or tanking from this squad. Unless you're willing to let go of a high draft pick...lol

For some reason the CPU doesn't like the defense this team is fielding. 40pts vs the Giants and 35pts vs the Eagles. A look at the roster gives a glimpse into why. But it still doesn't alleviate the confusion. Both CB positions, RCB and LCB, are currently rated with a C grade. Yet one of them fields O. Scandrick, 89ovr. The other, rookie B. Jones, 73ovr. I'm sure there are other factors involved but somewhere along the way this secondary is getting shortchanged. Things aren't any better along the DL either. At DE this team is putting R. Gregory (83ovr), J. Mincey (84ovr), D. Lawrence (84ovr) and G. Hardy (92ovr) but can only manage a B rating. The DT has the same grade yet it is filled by N. Hayden (68ovr), who happens to be a starter in real life...smh, J. Williams (71ovr), T. McClain (74ovr) and T. Crawford (84ovr).

It will be interesting to see how all of this translates on the field after 8 simmed games. Can this unit get it going and start shutting down their CPU opponents? That remains to be seen so, stay tuned...
