Dallas expected to have to deal with rookie sensation, T. Richardson, in this game. And he didn't let Browns' fans down, rushing for over 130yds and a TD. But what Dallas wasn't expecting was the hard hitting Browns' defense. The Browns forced SIX fumbles, recovering 3 of them. It seemed like every time the Cowboys tried to get going on offense, a big hit would jar the ball loose and turn things around. Good thing Dallas' special teams came up with some big plays of their own.
After the Browns drove for the opening TD, a pass to H. Nicks, F. Jones took the kickoff 101yds to paydirt. Next possession the Browns are forced to punt and, attempting a pooch punt, the ball was picked up at the 27yd line and returned 73yds for a TD by back up safety, M. Silva. The Browns came back with a 57yd pass to J. Cribbs and then took advantage of Dallas turnovers to score 2 FGs to make 24-14. But Dallas would counter with an 80yd pass to Dez Bryant and a 43yd FG to end the first half, making it 24-20 Dallas.
    T. Richardson would score the only TD in the 3rd qtr. The 4th qtr was a mix of punts and turnovers. With Dallas down 27-24, Romo got the team into position for the go ahead score but missed a WIDE open J. Witten in the endzone. Dallas settled for a 30yd FG to tie the game.
Dallas would get the ball back and BAM!!! another fumble, to give the Browns the ball and a chance to go ahead. But the Browns would get a taste of their own medicine as Ware got a strip sack of Weeden, recovered by J. Ratliff and giving Dallas new life. 2 completions by Romo put the ball in FG range and D. Bailey kicked the game winner from 35yds out.
