Anyone play it? I've talked to one other TSO user and just curious if anyone else would be interested.

Anyone? I finally have a CPU that can run it and want to play it once in a while.

I have it just thought it was buggy as hell (die when climbing a ladder randomly) a lot of the time and ran pretty bad even with a nice setup I've got.

Haven't played it in awhile tho - maybe they've smoothed things out by now.

I was wondering as well- I love watching FrankieOnPCin1080P on Youtube (I think thats the username)... his videos have me wanting to play and I would have to think it would be a lot better with friends.

I can deal with issues if we are still running around in a group and enjoying it.

Thats the problem - even doing that is very difficult.

If I'm not mistaken, you mean "was since you last played?"

They give you no map nor compass. You dont spawn anywhere near each other necessarily. Your only hope of even finding one another is to first figure out where you are by some landmark using an online map you can find via google. - even that is a STEEP challenge. If you both manage to do it, you have to stay alive long enough to make it to each other - often times by the time you find one another, at least one of you is near death.

Then to top it off, the melee combat system is literally the worst I've ever played. I'm not exaggerating, literally the worst.

Its a far cry from being even a playable game and quite frankly I dont understand what people's infatuation with it is. Its bad by all accounts outside of decent graphics.

Play Project Zomboid instead. Its far, far, far closer to an enjoyable survival game - even if the graphics are basically just a shade above minecraft.

Sorry it's been awhile since I've been on. I play DayZ a lot and it is what Keller said it was. They have updated it but there isn't going to be any big changes till they are done rebuilding the engine. Better o off playing the arma 2 mod.
