Close, But Not Good Enough The Clemson Tigers hosted the Wisconsin Badgers this weekend. The Badgers would score the first 14 points to start the game off. Clemson would answer back with only a few seconds left in the quarter. Brandon Pearson would connect with Gerome Hopper for a 33 yard touchdown pass. The only scoring in the second quarter was a 31 yard field goal by Lou Bishop. The 3rd quarter no team seamed to pull away from each other. Wisconsin would get a 19 yard field goal to start the scoring in the 4th quarter. Pearson would connect with Jeremy Brady on a 4 yard passing touchdown. Tied at 17-17 Clemson's defense thought they could either get the game to over time or make a stop. The Badgers were thinking different. They would get a 67 yard passing touchdown to seal the deal.
Tigers Bounce Back After Lose The Clemson Tigers traveled to Blacksburg Virginia to face the Virginia Tech Hokies. The first quarter would consist of a defensive battle between the two teams. No offense would score in the first quarter. VTech would get on the board first with a field goal. Clemson would score the next 3 drives. Corey Garcia would start off with a 3 yard rushing touchdown. Chad Kelly would connect with Billy Joesph for 5 yards. Corey Garcia would score from 80 yards out as time expired to end the first half. Clemson would lead 21-3 going in. Corey Garcia would take the ensuing kick off 100 yards for another touchdown. Garcia wouldn't stop there. He would get another touchdown from 51 yards out. VTech would score another 21 points. Kelly would also give the Tigers another touchdown from 11 yards out. VTech's rally would fall short after two more touhdown.s
Tigers Win 3 In a RowThe mighty Clemson Tigers win there 3rd straight game after a terrible lose to Wisconsin. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets would travel to Clemson to get routed 35-14. GTech would get on the board first with a 6 yard touchdown run. The Tigers would answer back with T.J. Anderson taking it in from 2 yards out. To start out the 2nd quarter GTech would get another touchdown. This time a 5 yard touchdown pass. Chad Kelly would call his own number and score from 8 yards out. Later Kelly would connect with Zac Brooks from 15 yards for a touchdown. The Tigers would go into the locker room with the lead 21-14. Kelly would connect with Corey Garcia twice, 3 and 13 yards out.
NC State Gets Crushed The North Carolina State Wolfpack would travel to face the the Clemson Tigers this weekend. Corey Garcia would start the scoring frenzy with a 2 yard scamper. NC State would answer with there own touchdown. Lou Bishop would nail a 22 yard field goal to go 10-7. Garcia would score again from 59 yards out to make it 17-7. Bishop would connect on another field goal, this time from 35 yards out. NC State would answer the Clemson touchdown with a 60 yard touchdown run. Garcia would score on a 2 yard scamper again. But NC State would get another touchdown before half time. When Clemson got the ball to start the 2nd half they went 14-0 run with a Chad Kelly connected with Garcia for 45 yards. Then Garcia would score from 55 yards out. NC State would score 10 points to bring it too 31-17. Garcia would make his last touchdown on a 92 yard touchdown run. Omar Turner would show lighting skills as he would interecpt a pass and take it to the house for 40 yards. The Wolfpack would score one last time and fail on the 2 point try. Bishop would score his last field goal this time from 37 yards out. T.J. Anderson would get 2 yards out to finalize the scoring.
