Really ran the ball effectively in our preseason game. Conversely, not a lot of passing attempts.
Keep everything in front of you. Keep two safeties over the top. Don't let him hit a homerun on you.
Defense wasn't really a factor, but always watch out for Dumervil and Von Miller. Champ Bailey is still good but old. Other than that, the pass defense wasn't strong.
Offensively he is effective at running- good play calling is the reason for his success. When behind- likes to run from Shotgun and will abuse slant out routes from the right side of the field to either the TE or slot WR.
Defense is straight forwad, as the CB are not good. Had trouble with most routes and had them reeling with when to play man vs. zone. Just mix up the curl, mesh, and streak routes to do this.
Offense: Uses Hillman as the primary RB, but will sprinkle in McGahee. Had issues with the Zone Blitz, finding out which defenders are dropping/blitzing. Threw a lot on interceptions and balls into coverage. Running game did not get a chance to get going because of early deficit. Ran a few shotgun sets including some trips with a TE to the back side.
Defense: Decent amount of blitzing on 2nd down, but will play coverage on third. Ran a lot of 8 man in the box to stop the run. Miller and Dumervill will get pressure off the edges in the passing game. Champ Bailey played well, but other corners can be beaten consistently.
