NEW WEEK, SAME STORY: ROOKIE RB DARRIAN REAGAN RUNS WILD
    ---
QB Brock Osweiler walked calmly into the media room after Denver's 38-10 win over division king Kansas City and let out a sigh of relief at the podium. The weight was finally lifted from his shoulders...
The 6'7 gunslinger doesn't have gaudy statistics early on, but he's getting the job done out there. With a supporting cast of basket cases, unwanted rookies, and aging veterans, Osweiler leads this group of misfits up and down the field with ice in his veins.
Of course, it's always nice when a young quarterback has a stellar running game to lean on:
"It's a lot easier to be a high percentage passer when you're constantly in third and shorts instead of third and forever. I owe my linemen and the D-Train some steaks after this start..." - Osweiler
    ---
The D-Train ran for over 100 yards for the third straight week. Reagan leads the NFL in yardage and rushing TDs scored.
When asked about being overlooked by the sports media when it comes to Offensive Rookie of the Year candidates, Reagan shrugged it off.
"...when St. Louis cut me in the preseason, the chip on my shoulder got even bigger. Being doubted is great motivation. If they want to give that little trophy to that pretty-boy quarterback out in Seattle, that's fine by me. I'm working on bigger and better things. Statistics are fun to look at, but wins are all that matter...and championships are all I'm concerned about." - Reagan

Whoa there, Nancy. No need to drag my QB into this. Laddaris is just happy to be sitting at 3-0 and helping the team win games. As for the OROY, we still have 14 weeks to go. Just a smidge premature.

Good luck out there in Denver. Not sure how soft the AFCW run defenses are, but that wouldn't fly against Seattle.

My guess is that you no longer like the sliders now that they are realistic.

In both of our eyes combined (four eyes total), the sliders are, in fact, right.

Dorin Dickerson would have a nice time dancing with Bruce Irvin and Bobby Wagner.

I understand your disappointment, but do understand it isn't a matter of liking, disliking, winning, or losing. There are no "winners" here. If you truly believe that is what we are concerned about, then you truly misunderstand the very foundation of this league.

It's an inside joke. Like the post said, no one else would get it but TJ and I.

It had nothing to do with the league. No reason to get offended over nothing.

Hard to understand how you do not appreciate an inside joke that you are on the outside of.

I am closing this thread as the discussion is not constructive nor does it benefit the league in any way.
