What do you guys think?
public vote btw
I voted sliders for bowl week and beyond. But really id be fine with keeping things as is. I've had nailbiters Against the CPU everyvyear, and with this being a user conference, some teams really need those CPU wins to get bowl eligible and raise prestige and stay competitive.
I hate Heisman. IMO the computer just cheats and every time I've played Heisman dynasties, I resort to money plays and trying to trick up alignment because the CPU takes away EVERYTHING else. One slider should be CPU FG accuracy. That could go up. Also I think there should be more penalties but honestly these are things I only think about when I'm actively thinking about what to change.
I totally agree but some people have shown a lack of restraint and that is ruining it for everyone else.
Gimme dem heisman settings beyotch
I say just increase the defensive sliders slightly. We're starting to recruit talent where we should blow out some teams anyway. I don't like decreasing user sliders because we'll be recruiting better players but they wont be as good on the field. I would be fine with keeping AA though.
Lets just leave them the way they are. I promise I wont say another word the next time a guy busts out 70 plus points!
I'm kind of indifferent on this as I can definitely see how a bump to the CPU's Kick Accuracy, Running Game and Pass Coverage wouldn't hurt but I don't think going Heisman is a great idea.
I'm not sure why you're scared of heisman...Me and you tend to wreck shop on the cpu. I've taken Ohio State behind the woodshed the last few years.
I voted heisman, but could go either way with it being the sliders or the actually difficulty setting. I can also see what steamer says that we need these cpu wins, but there's no way I should have been able to hang with Texas last year with my team.
Heisman is basically the gay where you just have to out cheese the CPU since they know every play you're going to run. You then have to rely on just a few plays that you know will beat them and what fun is that? At least on AA it isn't 2 crazy though it seems like they know when you'll run or pass.
If everyone used their whole playbook now, we wouldn't have this issue.
I use a large portion of my playbook against the CPU, but against users, I prolly use 20 different offensive plays a game...
I try to against the computer but I end only being "allowed" to run up the middle
They know what play you're running no matter what you call. Heisman is the gay.
I'm saying if everyone used their whole playbook vs the cpu, we'd have closer games and wouldn't be in this mess.
Do you know any leagues with a good set of AA sliders?
In my last game I went primairly SG Split Slot with 2 RB's 2 WR and and a TE and the SG Normal which are 2 playbooks I rarely use. I like to experiment against the CPU as the games are a lot less important than against a user.
me too. i use a mix of Ask Coach and new formations.
I do use my whole playbook. Especially against the PC.
Ya know what, I'd like to change my vote from hesiman bowls to slider bowls after playing my game in another OD. Fucking psychic defense fucking BS. D- Defense was playing me like they were Alabama.
Haha run committing to the side your running to every time?
Yeah if we go Heisman I'm gonna Nik it up.
And clearly by Nik, you mean cheese
That's what he said wasn't it?
