PATRIOTS RIDE BRADY'S ARM TO CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.

    Foxboro,MA

First quarter KC would get the ball and move it downfield mixing the run with the pass keeping the Patriots on their heels. Cassel would the connect with Berrian for the early score for KC to compete a stung drive. Brady however would not be undone moving the Patriots down field with multiple formations before connecting with Hernandez in the end zone to tie the game at 7. KC would move the ball again impressively getting back in the redone but this time Cassel would get picked by McKenzie who would stall the drive. Brady re-entered recharged and with his back to the end zone would connect with Elderman on a 50 yard strike to get them out of the hole. From there a couple more passes and they were in the red zone but this time the Chiefs would hold and New England would have to settle for 3. Patriots defense riding the momentum of the interception would again step and force the Chiefs to punt. On the next possession Moss would catch a Brady strike from 56 yards out for a score ton extend the lead to (7-17). KC would use a time consuming drive to eat clock and move the ball to score before the half close and draw within 3 (14-17) half.

Second half was sloppy ball by both teams until late in the 4th Brady would connect from 13 yards out to Hernandez. Chiefs would have several chances to get close but two KC drives would end in interceptions the last by Meriweather. As the sec were running off the clock Patriots fans cheered their team as they get ready to face a Jacksonville team that is undefeated.
