    DJ's Week 13 Predictions

This week features two Big matchups with teams vying for BCS Bowls.

    #8 Ohio State vs Michigan

This is "The Game". Ohio State is dreaming of getting an at large bid and will have to beat a pretty good Michigan and a Underachieving UCLA squad. Ohio State comes in Boasting the #1 scoring offense, the #4 Offense overall, and the #3 pass offense in the nation. But the Wolverines have been great against the pass ranking #7 in Pass Defense. But the run defense is an issue and big play back and heisman candidate Jaamal Berry is due for a BIG GAME. The Wolverines lack consistency when it comes to finding a rhythm on offense both in the run game and in the passing game. No rb over 500 yards and no qb with 10 td passes? This will be close......For about a quarter or 2 but the inconsistent Wolverine offense is just too much to overcome against such a potent and talented Buckeyes team.

    #4 Miami vs #5 USC

This game has huge Bcs Title game implications. Figuring that whoever wins this one will be within striking distance of jumping Notre Dame and the huge Texas Nebraska Big 12 championship game. This could be a potential winner takes all game for both teams. Both teams rank in the top 10 in scoring, in total defense, and in pass defense. This is as even as a matchup as we have seen all year stats wise. The pass offense of high flying SC meets the stout Pass Defense of the Hurricanes. The balanced run attack meets the stout SC defense. The difference in this game will be Miami's mediocre pass game though they will be forced into passing situations and I just dont believe even with the stable of QBs they have what it takes to pass on this great SC pass D. But SC has been known at times to be run all over. Not the case in this game. The run game isnt shut down but is held in check just enough to force the Miami Qb to do things with his arm. But SC pulls this one out in this one.
