The Dolphins survived a scare against a more then game Lions squad. Under the leadership of Moogle there should be a significant improvement on both sides of the ball resulting in a better over record. The Lions scored first on a short TD run to make it 7-0. Not much after that the Dolphins matched with a Ronnie Brown TD run 7-7. Brown finished the day with a 100 yard effort with that 1 TD. Late in the second quarter and already up 14-10 the Dolphins were looking to create some space on the scoreboard, but K. Hayden took back the only Dolphin interception of the day 76 yards for the go ahead TD. 17-14 at the half.

Well the third quarter had the Lions keeping that momentum from the first half over as they outscored Miami 10-3 in the quarter pushing their overall lead to 27-17. Miami was determined to push its 2 game winning streak to 3 before the bye week. With 4 minutes remaining they punched the ball in from the 2 yardline and were now only trailing by 3. On the kickoff they forced a fumble by the Lions which was picked up and ran back for the game winning TD!!!! Although Detroit would get the ball again it didn't matter. Miami played stellar defense forcing a pick and then turned around and converted for multiple first downs running the clock out for the final score of Miami-31 Detroit-27

GG Moogle you are a tough opponent and Im sure you will wreak havoc in the NFC even with your current record.
