Dolphins 41 Colts 35 In a game that neither man would give on offenses prevailed. Miami took an early 14-0 lead on a TD pass to Ted Ginn and run by Ricky Williams. Vontae Davis was exposed for a TD and the Dolphins were 3 and out, the Dolphins D stepped up and forced a punt of their own but instead of fair catching Ted Ginn got popped hard and fumbled giving up a TD on the fumble recovery to tie the game. With another score and Vontae Davis being burned again the halftime was locked up at 21 a piece. With back and forth action on both sides of the ball another Ricky Williams run and yet another Vontae Davis mistake led to a 28-28 tie. The Dolphins drove the field for 7 and a half minutes and scored with 3 minutes to go on a Ronnie Brown goalline run. Indianapolis and Peyton Manning would not lay down though and drove down the field to score on a Donnie Brown rec with 27 seconds left. Miami got on Indy's side of the field but were unable to capitalize, which led to overtime. The coin toss was won by Miami and Ted Ginn was the return man who felt the need to redeem his prior mistake, he took it up the middle found some blocks made one man miss and was off for the score to close the game 41-35. Great game overall, shame it was decided on a coin toss.
