Miami, FL - The Miami Dolphins have signed defensive tackle DeAndre Crawford to a six year contract extension worth $45M according to team sources. Crawford's agent verified the report. The 6'4, 336 pound monster has been shoring up the middle for the Dolphins defensive line racking up 116 tackles, 15 TFL, 6 sacks, 6 FF, and 1 FR over the past three seasons. He has proven his worth to the team which is evident by the contract signed.

Free safety Tavarius Jones has also been confirmed to have signed a contract extension with the team. Some critics questioned the 6'0, 210 pound defensive back's abilities. The former third round pick from Northwestern has dazzled the defensive coaches, and more importantly, head coach Olson with his progress within the league. Details of the contract terms were not disclosed.
