The Dolphins came in to the game vs their new neighbors to the north 2-0 as were the upstart Sentinels. The one time Bills have always played Miami tough it seems like they just found a way to have big turnover or 2 that puts them behind. Tonights game was very similar, and again it rained in Miami.

Miami would take the opening drive and score quickly as QB Ryan Tannehill would spot a S fall and leave a hole for a streaking Mike Wallace who took it 80+ yards to the house and a fast 7-0. WR's and CB's were falling all over the field on this night and passes were being dropped like crazy making an early lead a nice edge. Orlando would answer cashing in on some key 3rd downs and TE Handy would sneak out of a zone open for a TD making the score 7-7. The 2 teams would play some field position and try to run the ball but neither was that effective on the sloppy track. The Dolphins would flip the field however and Charles Clay would shake free on a TD grab making the score 14-7. The Sents would drive yet again to attempt to tie but one of many big hits on the night by both teams would cause a fumble halting the drive. Ryan Tannehill would take over again with about 2 minutes left instructed just to try to tack on a late FG as they also would get the second half KR. The Fish would drive deep but Tannehill got greedy and threw into the flat into obvious cover and CB J Holder would pick 6 it to tie the game at the half.

The Dolphins were determined to get those points back and would using some running game and a little high percentage passing as Mike Wallace would again shake free through coverage and haul another TD 1 of 6 catches for over 200 yds on the night, Dolphins lead 21-14.

Orlando would try to drive again and they did pretty deep but Cam Newton would be picked over the middle by LB Jelani Jenkins who was only in the game due to injury and kill any momentum the Sents could mount. A couple plays later early in the 4th recently claimed RB Marcus Lattimore would scamper in from a yard out making it 28-14 all be locking up the big early season division match up. Cam would lead his team again down the field but on 4th down would be picked by CB Jamar Taylor essentially ending the game. 28-14 home team moves to 3-0 in this early season. Other than the pick QB Tannehill found a way to put up over 300 yds on the night, Dion Jordan also had a nice game with several pressures a sack and a FF. Cam Newton did throw for 291 in a down pour but the 2 big picks hurt. GG Mike see you next time at your new house...
