Coming 2 tough loses to NE and NYJ the Dolphins needed a win badly. Miami needed to get a division win and had no idea what to expect as Miami is now down 3 starters including WR Mike Wallace.

Miami came in wanting some balance and to hold on to the ball. First drive they did that mixing run and pass resulting in a Lamar Miller TD run to make it 7-0. Miami would get the ball right back but Ryan Tannehill was picked inside the 10 yards missing a chance at early control. which when on the road and missing stars you can not do. However the Dolphins defense would hold serve on this night hounding QB Cam Newton for 5 sacks and containing him for the most part holding Cam to under 120 yards of total offense and picking him off once as well. With the score 7-3 late in the first half Lamar Miller would sneak out of the back field untouched down the right sideline and Tannehill would find him for a 14 yard TD making it 14-3 and pretty much locking the game down from there. The Dolphins front 7 was relentless and Orlando could not mount a serious threat other than a late FG. Miami will take wins anyway they can with 3 starters out and on the road vs a tough division opponent. Final in this one 17-6 Miami.

Lamar Miller finished with 91 yards rushing
    Ryan Swope 86 receiving
    Tannehill efficient 10-15 passing
OLB's Hughes and Kindle combine for 5 sacks and 12 tackles

GG Michael Overman Cam and your O just could not get anything going in this one...
