Second attempt first locked up wont be able to add any media that's when it locks on me. The Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills renewed an old rivalry on a wet night in South Florida. It was the first divisional game for Miami and it was a memorable one. The Dolphins started out well opening up on a long drive resulting in a Ben Tate 1 yd TD plunge then immediately got the ball back on a sack strip in FG range. Miami knowing D was tough and the track was muddy was happy to take a FG and an early 10-0 lead. The Bills would answer however they missed a FG wide left and as the second quarter started Miami had control at 10-0. The second quarter was much like the theme for the entire game anytime someone would gain an edge that drive ended in a turnover. Ryan Tannehill was picked several times when he could have put the game in panic mode for the visiting Bills however EJ Manual returned the favor a couple times also. The Bills however would strike to end the half as they had a nice drive but the end of the half was fast approaching and had to settle for a short FG making it 10-3 at the half. The Dolphins looked to make adjustments at half and as they did on the sidelines the Bills promptly returned the kickoff to the house and before anyone got back into their wet seats the game was tied at 10. Miami could really not do much on offense in the second half and Buffalo was running well as the pistol attach came out a little and was affective. The Bills would strike on a CJ Spiller TD run and what once seemed like a nice home victory for the Fish was slowly getting away from them down 7 to start the 4th. Miami again could do nothing on O some small stuff to TE's and once in a while Brian Hartline would find a hole in a zone but no threat. The Bills went on another nice drive pounding the rock to try a gain a late 2 score advantage but this time Manual was picked again by CB Jamar Taylor and Miami had one last shot to get the score even. The Dolphins looked to little used Mike Wallace on a couple quick throws in the slop and got past mid field. After some tough runs and a pass to Charles Clay Miami had a first down in the redzone. On a first down hand off however Tate would fumble and the Bills would recover. Miami not seeing the challenge option would burn a TO as Tate was holding his hands up saying he was down by contact. Finally a review would come and Tate was correct Miami ball still. The drive would continue and result in a 2nd Ben Tate TD run making the score 17-17 late in the 4th. The Bills could not move the ball the next series as Dion Jordan would come up with the second of his 3 sacks and also maintain a nice contain on a zone run keeper by Manual forcing a punt. Miami got the ball back and on a fluke play Tannehill wonders left and right and WR Brian Hartline somehow was all alone past a cover 2 where a S was not home deep left and the QB air mailed one down to Hartline who waited so long he could have waved for a fair catch but the ball got there inside the 20. Making sure it got there meant however he could not recover in time to score a TD. Miami would wisely run the ball force Buffalo to spend timeouts and kick a late FG to go up 20-17. The Bills got the ball back but had no time to really mount a late charge in this one as Jordan rose the occasion again on a sack and 3 batted balls later meant the Dolphins improved to 4-2 in a tough hard fought and I am sure 1st of many good games with the Bills. GG Mike look forward to the next one. The Dolphins look to survive one more week without RB Lamar Miller and TE Dustin Keller both who have been out now 6 of 7 weeks with injury. Jordan 3 sacks on the day Hartline 95 yards receiving Tate 65 yards and 2 TD's on the day.
