Life long Eagles fan. Its a sad day, no doubt but I understand why they did it. They got the 37th pick in the draft and a condiditional 4th. The 37th pick is basically a first rounder for 2nd round money. McNabb walks after next season because they have Kolb(who they love) and because McNabb wants another 100 Million dollar contract. Who cares that they traded him to the Redskins. They are still the worst franchise in the division and are years away from being a contender. Andy Reid has a history of letting guys go a year early rather then a year later. People freaked out when Corry Simon, Trotter and others were let go but none of them ever amounted to anything outside of South Philly. Now people will say Dawkins was let go a year to early and I cant argue that but with the track record of Andy Reid I have to accept the move and go ahead and purchase my Kevin Kolb jersey.

McNabb will be missed but Fly Eagles Fly. Let the Kevin Kolb era begin.

Lifelong Eagles fan too but I'm truely lost. I know it was bound to happen but damn... not like this, not to Washington. But I'll bleed Green til the day that I die, I just hope Kolb is ready. He's officially in the jungle. Either he performs well and we'll keep his boat floatin' or he sucks, then we'll drown his ass.

Maybe Vick shows that he can still quarterback in this league and give us a spark if Kolb struggles. Plus we're looking at some 6'5 quarterback (for get his name) from some small school (we know Andy's track record with those picks). I just don't know... I seriously emotionally confused.

I'll miss you 5!! Go Birdz!! Can't imagine the calls WIP610 is getting right now...

It's the Redskins. They will finish 6-10. He was gone after next season anyways. Kolb is going to take his lumps but he is going to be a star.

I really need your confidence right now, lol. I know he showed up against KC but I can't get that Ravens performance out of my head. I know it was his first time but... McNabb really spoiled me these last ten years or so. I just don't want to go back to the Ty and Koy Detmer, Bobby Hoying, Rodney Peete days you know?

Let's see if your singing that tune if McNabb & Washington come into Philly next year and McNabb goes 24-28 w/300 yards and beats Philly 38-14, while Kolb plays like hot garbage.

Maybe you're right though. Will See.

I don't care about trading within the division. The bottom line isn't winning your division - it's winning the championship. If the best deal is within the division then you do it imo. The only bad case scenario is if McNabb wins a Superbowl with Washington. Besides, Snyder has screwed things up so often in Washington that the Eagles are probably banking on it.

Let me add that the Browns better not draft Claussen if he drops to 7th because the Skins don't take him at 4.

    that's 7.

    Shaun already mentioned the Browns.

Translation: We have reached the maximum amount of posts involving the Browns for the month. If you dont want the sight to crash again, go fishing or talk about how terell pryor is going to choke this year, please. :D

That's not what Charles Woodson was saying after the game with the Cowboys last year. I don't know if you caught that one, I don't remember the score, could you remind me.
