    LSU Tigers 2013 Season Preview
LSU had a very successful 2012, winning a SEC Championship and making it to The National Title, but losing to Notre Dame. This year we have 18 of 22 starters returning from last year, including the entire defense so this is a big year to say the least, this is a culmination of former coach Les Miles vision and it could be a while to we have a chance like this again so we are going to have to take advantage of it.
Offense Preview: We lost 2 starting offensive linemen, C PJ Lonergan and RT Alex Hurst, are #1 WR Russell Shepard and TE Chase Clement. This years team will be led by QB Zach Mettenberger, hes coming off a pretty good year in yardage and passing TD's but threw a lot of INT's, he is going to have to cut down on those if we are going to have the kind of season we want to. HB Spencer Ware is coming off a Heisman Winning season but is still in a dog fight for the starting job with equally as talented Michael Ford, which is a good thing. The O-Line is rock solid with (SR) C Ben Dominigue and (JR) RT Corey White stepping into starting roles and the other 3 returning starters we are counting on these guys to control the line of scrimmage. (JR) Odell Beckham is going to have to step up in the #1 WR role as he only had a decent season, we have good depth at the wide receiver but no real studs.
Defense Preview: With all 11 defensive starters returning we are expecting a big year on the defensive side of the ball, The defensive was in the top 10 in yards allowed and points allowed for most of the season but a couple of poor games late dropped them down. With one of the best defensive lines in the country are led by the 2 defensive ends Sam Montgomery and Bark Mingo who had 20 sacks between them. The line backing core is led by Kevin Minter who had 13 sacks and 2 INT's while the secondary is led by FS Eric Reid and CB Tyrann Mathieu who were hoping has more of an impact this year.
2012 Recruiting Summary: LSU had the 2nd overall recruiting class with only a limited number of scholarships to offer, most of all incoming freshman have been redshirted for this season except for 2 freshman tight ends, Anthony Dunlap and Marcus Joseph as they are going to be 1 and 2 on the depth chart. A couple of key recruits are 2 :5stars:WR Thomas Bailey and WR Andrew Stephens who are going to tow the load next season
2013 Prediction: Anything less then an SEC Championship and a National Title would be disappointing to Coach Rich Cast and his LSU Tigers, we are built to win now!

    Solid Win for Coach Cast

The dangerous Ford leads LSU to a victory over Texas Tech.
LSU you came out like a house on fire scoring early and often jumping to a 42-10 halftime lead, from there they would put it in cruise control to pick up the easy victory. Mike Ford would steal the thunder away from last year's Heisman winner Spencer Ware as Ford would rush for 115 yds and have 2 punt returns for TD's, an 83 yarder and a 56 yarder. Ware would still get his even tho he sat out the 2nd half as he would rush for 88 yards on 10 carries and get 2 TD's. QB Zach Mettenberger was efficient threw 2 TD passes and had 0 INT's. The defense despite giving up almost 400 yards through the air had 11 sacks and 1 INT that they returned for a TD. Next up LSU has a bye week.
Spencer Ware HB #11 58 yard rush for a TD
Craig Loston SS #6 23 yard INT return for a TD
Michael Ford HB #42 56 yard Punt Return for a TD

    Slapped Around

LSU hangs 54 points on the Huskies.
LSU gets back to there winning ways with a solid offensive effort against the Washington Huskies, LSU would put up 54 points and were led by QB Zach Mettenberger who would throw for 365 yds, 6 TD's and have 1 INT. Odell Beckham would have a break out game catching 6 passes for 242 yds and 3 TD's. The defense wouldnt fair as well as they would get torched threw the air as Washington QB Keith Price would throw for 472 yds going 35/61 with 2 TD's and 2 INT's. On a positive not the defense would cause 3 turnovers and have multiple stops in the red zone holding The Huskies 0 for 3 on 4th down. LSU wins the game 54-20.
Anthony Dunlap TE #85 24 yard TD from Zach Mettenberger QB #8
Anthony Johnson DT #56 45 yard TD
they called it a fumble but i think it is an INT, but either way its a defensive TD

    Week 8
    Tigers Win
LSU takes care of South Carolina, 38-24.
LSU would come out on fire with the offense and would score TD's on there first 4 possessions to take a 28-0 lead, which was too much to overcome for GameCocks. I had a feeling things were going to go my way after Anthony Dunlap would make a ridiculous catch in the back of the endzone for the 1st TD after 2 South Carolina players would have there hands on it. QB Zach Mettenberger had a good day going 19/27 for 301 yds 2 TD's and 1 INT, while Heisman hopeful Spencer Ware would also have a huge day with 16 rushes for 133 yds and 3 TD's, most of those yards came on a 94 yard TD run. This win keeps LSU in the hunt for an SEC Title.

    Geaux Bayou Bengals!
Tigers win 42-3 against Texas A&M.
This was a domination in all aspects, 500 yards of offense for the Tigers and only 191 yds for the Aggies, it was 28-0 before A&M even got on the board. Zach Mettenberger went 14/20 for 297 yds, 3 TD's and 1 INT. Spencer Ware had 108 yds and 2 TD's.

    Week 10
LSU wins an ugly game as Zach Mettenberger would throw 6 INT's to only 2 TD's but the Tiger defense was up to the task as they would hold the Bama offense to only 10 points. Spencer Ware would have a huge day on the ground despite not getting a TD with a 170 yards rushing. Next up a cupcake game for LSU as we play UAB

    Season 2 Recap
It was a down year for LSU as we finished the year 10-4. We lost SEC Championship game to Georgia, the we lost our Bowl Game to Wisconsin.
On a good note Spencer Ware won his 2nd Straight Heisman Trophy.

    Season 4 9-4 SEC Champion
    The Defense Rests

Gamecocks downed in shootout with LSU 43-40.
It was a wild and crazy game, as the Tigers would jump out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter on a couple of TD passes from QB Corey Arnold, after exchanging TD's in the 2nd Quarter South Carolina would score 2 TD's in the final minute to tie the game up going into the half with the 2nd one a pick six with 5 seconds to go. That seemed to turn the tide as The Gamecocks would rally from there getting the only points of the 3rd quarter with a safety and a TD to take a 30-21 lead into the 4th. After another LSU turnover (5 INT's on the day) South Carolina would score again to go up 16 before LSU would mount the comeback. Arnold would throw a TD pass to TE Anthony Dunlap the convert the 2 pointer to make it a 8 point game, but the gamecocks would add a field goal with 1:54 left when LSU returner Terrence Magee would catch lightning in a bottle and return the kick 106 yds for a TD, LSU would miss the 2 point conversion and would be down 5. Then The Tigers would recover the onside kick drive down the field and with 10 seconds left Corey Arnold would hit WR Avery Johnson in the back of the endzone for the game winning TD. LSU would over come a pick six, a safety, a 103 yd Kick return for a TD and 5 INT's to win the game.
