Depending on how long the 2013 post season games take to be completed, the 2014 draft will fall on either Saturday, 11/2 or 11/9. Depending on what date the 2014 draft takes place, the 2015 draft will commence on the Saturday that follows, 11/9 or 11/16. Barring any unforeseen circumstances or holidays, drafts will always fall on Saturdays and commence @ 8pm EST. Be prepared and plan accordingly.

If you are unable to attend a draft, but would like to have somebody draft for you, there is always the option to appoint somebody that you trust to log on with your PSN account and draft for you. However, you will want to make certain that it is somebody who does not select anywhere near your position in the draft. Otherwise, it will be difficult logistically for that individual to be able to draft for their team and yours. Team selections will be simulated for those who are unable to attend.

If you plan on trading draft picks, get them traded BEFORE the final scouting STAGE (STAGE 7)of the CFM off-season; particularly if you do not plan on attending the draft! Once the CFM off-season is advanced to the final scouting STAGE (STAGE 7), trades involving draft picks cannot be performed until the draft goes LIVE. That is an important detail for those who are making last minute trades and/or will be unable to attend the draft. Get your shit in order NOW, because we will NOT be holding up the draft for trades or individuals who did not plan ahead.

Thx for your attention regarding this my league homies. (y)

Only restriction I can think of is the use of draft guides found on the internet to select players with superstar development is prohibited. If owners are selecting all players with superstar development we will know since scouting the development trait requires 10k scouting points. Can you think of anything else Jim? LtJustice

No real restrictions on who you can draft and when. I am not overly concerned with where players are projected. If someone fits your needs, you don't want to miss out on them because you waited to draft them closer to their "projected round".

ALL OWNERS are expected to use the in game scouting mechanic in our franchise and NOTHING ELSE when it comes to scouting and drafting players. The use of draft guides published on the internet, dummy franchise files, or any other means to gain an unfair advantage in the draft is expressly prohibited. I would hope that the members we have here in The Q wouldn't make use of such tactics; but if you do plan on utilizing a strategy such as these, perhaps it is time to either rethink those efforts or your membership in The Q.

Our intention, like everything else, is to have fun with the draft and reward those owners that do quality scouting in the franchise. Hopefully with the changes to the draft classes, this won't be as much of an issue this year and we can focus on having a good fun draft!
