Alright guys, I need your help...

MLM isnt letting me properly adjust these rookie contracts. So I need everyone to drop their rookies on MLM and re-sign them to your team. Only do this with your rookies, do not sign any other players.

The only exception is when the game wont let you drop the player. This is usually due to not having enough players at a position. So, to do this, sign a guy with that same position, then drop the rookie, sign the rookie, and then drop the replacement guy back into free agency.

Sign all rookies to the 3 year option, no exceptions. I will then go through and edit these contracts.

MLM is also down at the moment or I would be doing this manually.

Sorry for the issues and delays, I am disappointed as well in some of this and we will just have to get over the bumps along the way and hope MLM has some updates to it by the next off season.

    Please post when finished.

Resigned all my 3rd round and later guys to 3 year contracts but my 1st and 2nd picks are asking for 1 yr 2 yr and 5 yr deals, no option for 3yrs. Should we sign as 5 year?

Also, if 3 years isnt an option, re-sign them for 2, I can edit it to 3, but I cant edit 5 down to 3

Ok I did mine. I was able to sign everyone to 3 yr deals except Dontraveous Taylor FS, and Deonte Ambles CB. They are two year deals. Those are my two best draft picks though, so please make sure we get the extra year for them. Thanks.

    MLM

all draft picks will have a default 3 yr contract. I think real NFL is default 4 years with the new wage scale, but 4 yr contracts arent common on MLM so I am going with what I can.

Need to figure out how I'll get HB Codie Ross on my team. Can you cut him for me? I'll resign him to a 2 or 3 year contract.

All of my guys have been resigned.

The only guy I couldn't sign to 3 years was my RT B.Leilua who I signed for 2 years.

    Done.

Couldn't sign TE Brooks, WR Perkins, and CB Stewart to 3 year deals so they are at 2 years.

Done ..... Jmustang1968 how are you gauging the rookie contracts?? Off of previous picks at the same position? Average contract at the rookies position, or a GMFL rookie standard ?? Looking at my pay outs these cats want $$$ My 7th round pick wants $475k for 3 years wtf is there a minimum ?? My 3rd round pick asked for more than my second pick and my first pick #17 overall wants no.1 overall cash. Newtons deal (MLM) is $375,00 with a $3,629,500 bonus his first year #2 V.Miller has a $1,100,00 mil deal with a $3,425,000 bonus. My dude Charles wants $4,300,000 with a $175k bonus, when a 17th pick last year (Solder, Patriots) has a $950k with $1,100,000 a year deal. I know when picking players up the contracts are based on overall and not the actual draft position, which is why I'm presenting the question. It will also help all of us in determining if a high pick is affordable with limited CAP space like I have now.

8 million ... kinda high for a #1. Is that real league based ? In either case I hope I never get a #1 pick. My CAP is on child support. LOL any chance we can get the first round trimmed by 1 mil ??

I played with the numbers a bit and am satisfied with these. Cap management shouldnt be too easy. most of the league has a ton of cap space so I think these numbers are reasonable.

Cool ..... guess its restructure time for my one year guys. It will definitely deter guys from tanking. Someone start the thread "THE EIGHT MILLION DOLLAR MAN" for all #1 picks.

    #1 WR Demarcus Miles-signed 2yrs
    #3 CB Mario Finley-signed 2yrs

Everybody else signed to 3 yrs. It let me sign my second round pick to 3 yrs but not these two.
