    Quarter 1

Carolina opened this ball game on a roll like cheesesteak in Philadelphia. After forcing an Eagles quick 3 and out to open the game, Cam Newton led his team down the field and eventually would hand off to Taiwan Jones for the easy run in. After another short possession for the Eagles, Newton would again lead his team back down the field. This time he would punch it in from a yard out to give the Panthers a 14-0 lead. Just before the end of the 1st, Philadelphia would finally get on the board when Vick found Jeremy Maclin for a 13 yard strike. 14-7 Panthers.

    Quarter 2

This was a defensive battle for both sides. There were plenty turnovers on the day, and a couple here in the second. None bigger however, than DRC's first pick of the game, in which he returned 20 yards for the score. The Panthers would manage to get a field goal before the half ended taking a 17-14 lead into the locker room.

    Quarter 3

Both teams went back and forth all quarter long to open this one. The Eagles would catch the first break when DRC snuck underneath a route inside his own 5 for his second pick on the day. Two plays later Carolina brought the house and Vick checked down to a wide open Lesean McCoy. 95 yards later the Eagles would have their first lead of the day, 21-17.

    Quarter 4

With just under 6 minutes to play, and after another Cam Newton drive, the Panthers would again find themselves on the Eagles doorstep. On a 3rd and goal; however, DRC would again pick Newton and this time take the ball 106 yards for the score, 28-17 Eagles. They would go onto add another field goal making the final 31-17.

The Eagles improve their win streak to 4 games and are now starting to increase their lead in the NFC East. They go to 7-4 on the season, while Carolina slips to 5-6. Both teams still very alive in the jam packed NFC and I say both worth keeping an eye on.
