On a clear night in New Orleans, Louisiana in the Sugar Bowl, the Oregon Ducks faced off against the Florida State Seminoles for a chance to be called the best in the country. The game had been pushed back a day because of technical issues with ESPN's broadcast. The Ducks were jacked up before the game and it showed on the opening play of the game when a Duck player flew(literally) down the field and laid a monster hit on the FSU ball carrier that caused a fumble which the Ducks picked up and took it back for 6. This set the tone for the game as Oregon came out swinging. The game was a heavyweight slug-fest that went back and forth up until the 4th qtr when Oregon pulled away. (Sorry don't have the stats in front of me to peep them) This was Coach Stone's 2nd National Championship with the Oregon Ducks, and rumors have already begin to surface if he can go for the 3 peat. Coach Stone was quoted saying on the operation sports site that he was building for season 2016, not 2015. Good news for Ducks Fans is the 2016 Oregon team will be the deepest and most talented team that Coach Stone has had in his tenure.
