I don't think that #3 rating is accurate (ie must be after a few seasons in Dynasty mode). In the other screens where it shows conference teams, they are rated #22

    agreed!!
It seems...dude they got worked, WORKED by ND, they have questions at the QB positions (Harris is probable never going to see the field again) and they have 90's across the board, I know first hand what a team can do with a lot of returnering players, but wow.

But they are usually for FSU, Florida and Miami. I want to see ND's rating: OVR: 88 OFF: 91 Def: 84 (great DEF recruiting class) ST: 95

I think last year was a fluke, the 90 rating is not too out-of-hand; I expect them to be very good this year.

Just wait till OSU gets their season wiped out from last year. Tides are turning. The hammers coming your way.

Yea because a recruiting class will really make a huge impact this season. ND sucks.

As an ACC fan, I'll say they are a little overrated in this game: Mostly UM and Clemson
    FSU 94
    Miami 92
    Clemson 92
    GT 84
    Maryland 81

And that doesn't include UNC or V-Tech who will probably be around 88-92

Am I going to have to split this off to another thread?

I have a whole forum (talksportswith.us) for this kind of arguing...use it.

By the way, what is prestige considered in the game? I just thought of it as how appealing a school would be to recruits, which would mean the 6-start schools nowadays would be Alabama, Texas, FSU, USC, followed by LSU, UGA, OSU, Michigan, ND, and those types. I assume prestige is just an overall grade of all the school's pitches.

It means a lot for recruiting... a lot of recruits don't really care about the history. It obviously does mean something because you have a memory that it's a decent program when you hear the name... but they and scUM should be 5s, not 6s... Unless they continue to be terrible, in which case I think they can't really drop to a 4 for a loooooooong time of being awful.

Princeton and Yale wouldn't be 6 stars because they won a bunch of titles in the 1800s.

ND is 99-73 since Lou Holtz left (so 97-present)... which is a 58% win percentage.

It's not favorable to compare that to most of the other 5/6 star schools in that time frame.

Anyway, I just feel that those 2 should be dropped to 5s this year, and replaced by Auburn/Oregon/Virginia Tech/FSU.
