Dafuq happens at 1:03? Is the guard just completely oblivious to the blitzing linebacker?

Also at :09, where is the new planting animation?

Something happened oddly at 1:03. They are still tuning the new targeting system.
At 0:09, he wasn't really at high speed, didn't look like he needed to plant and make a deep cut to me.

Sounds great, as long as I'm playing with a defender who has high awareness coupled with some decent speed!

Shaun Mason is there ever any talk to putting this videos into a regular game play camera angle ? I know they want to show all the small details , which I do think look nice, but I care more about how it looks / works when the rubber meets the road ya know

I agree that you don't need a deep cut, but there was no cut. Just looked unnatural and arcadey as hell.

Other than that, I think the new tackling animations look great. I find it interesting that some animations need to be "felt" rather than "seen," as you'd think it'd be the other way around. In NCAA 13, the videos did the new animations no justice. It wasn't until I played the game that I could recognize the new animations. My guess is the same will be true with M25.

As far as the video goes, It didn't excite me or let me down. If they indeed improve the AI on the tacklers pursuit angles, then Id consider that a huge plus in terms of getting the Defense a bit more competitive. I am hoping this translate to the secondary as well as the safeties initially take angles to where the players are rather than where they are going and it creates opportunities for much bigger plays as we stand in m13.

the revamped hit stick is much more risk/reward... you better line it up correctly!!!

1:03 is an inside zone if you look at the HB, you can see he have a big hole if the qb gave him the ball.........

Right, but this is a selling point this year - revamped blocking assignments and awareness. As something that's plagued the game for years, it would be impossible to not be concerned by this showing up in a trailer. Also, missing and being totally oblivious are two entirely different things.

Show me that the guard missed on the play like a guard would and I am thrilled , now if the LB goes right across his face ask and be stands there like Helen Keller that's something that bums me out.

Huge. Definitely hasn't been enough risk to that.
