Ugly scene in Philadelphia, where at the end they had multiple riots and fights outside the stadium. Cowboys fans supposedly upset with the fact that the Eagle were trying to burn clock at the end of the game with a 40-10 lead late in the 4th. Coach Lazaroe, in the heat of the moment and sensing Dallas' anger at this, decided to switch it up and throw a deep ball which connected with Desean Jackson for a 47 yard strike. Not the most classy thing in the world to do, but after the game Coach Lazaroe had this to say, "You know sometimes the heat of the moment catches up to people. This was a game we had in the bad the entire day. There under 5 minutes we were just trying to run clock and get out of here with a big divisional win. But when their players start bumping and pushing after the play and question our play, we take offense to that here in Philadelphia. This city isn't known for hugs and kisses. You gotta have thick skin to live and play here. And if somebody questions that, we'll push right back. Do you feel bad for running that play at the end of the game? Sure. But we won't have our game management or skills questioned. You gotta have a backbone to play in the league." Philly would go on to win this one 47-17. Defense played a huge part, picking off Romo multiple times. So we'll give the game ball and MVP honors to the entire defense.

GG CaptMoe ... Sorry it didn't go in your favor and we had disagreements at the end. Hopefully it won't affect our future matchups.

Loren, typically we don't address issues like this in the forum as we prefer to refrain from drama or other types of self-destructive activity. However, I think this instance warrants a public response to you and to the rest of the league. This a solemn warning which will never be repeated again to you or to anyone else in this league. Any form of running up the score in the future will be grounds for immediate dismissal from the league. I don't care how much your opponent has pushed your buttons. I don't care how much you dislike your opponent or their gameplay. I don't care if your opponent has paused the game a million times. I don't care if your opponent has broken all of the rules. As soon as anyone goes maverick on the video field, you're just as much at fault as your opponent, if not more. Your actions were deliberate and intentional, and therefore, detrimental to the league. I believe you understand the severity of your actions after communicating with the staff regarding the incident. As a result, we are giving you a fair warning because you are new to the league and a veteran got the best of you. However, the foundation of this league is based on respect. Even if two owners do not get along with one other, they still need to be cordial and move forward out of respect for the the league and the rules which this establishment was founded on (RIP UMFL). If that respect is broken, the integrity of the league will be destroyed. Therefore, any maverick type of activity is intolerable. Please, heed this warning. If any issue(s) arise between you and your opponent, bring them to the staff's attention immediately.

Just a refresher for everyone on the rules regarding running out the clock and running up the score...
I'm sure someone is going to ask, so here is the answer... Please do not confuse returning an INT for a TD late in the game as running up the score. If you have an open lane to the end zone, you may return the INT for a TD as it is often seen in the NFL.

Thank you everyone for your attention regarding this.

I don't take these games, results or my opponent's actions personally. All I expect is for my opponents to abide by the rules, just as they expect me to. I said something about running the clock because, as Doug quoted in our rules, it isn't allowed until less than 3:00 to go. Sorry if that upset you...

Guys....just remember its a game. yes we all want to win but if you dont know how to lose you will never win. Rules are easy to follow perfect example with my game the other day with steelers.winning by 20 in the 4th i ran the ball like 15 times in a row. What I'm trying to say lets play ball and lets get along......good luck to all

Just a few things if I may add:

    1) Understandable that this issue would be raised. Moe is more than allowed to say something if the clock was prematurely being chewed. I get that you were up big Loren, but at the end of the day we're all here to play a game. No need to end it earlier than it should have been.

    2) Please don't air the dirty laundry out on the main forums. You may see it as making light, but your opponent may not and could actually make it worse. Part of what makes this league so great is that we handle internal matter behind closed doors and sort them out accordingly.

    3) I hope there is no offense on either side and you guys work it out. I really like both of you as owners, so I hope you can shake hands and move on.

Like I said, I don't take any of this personally so, as far as I'm concerned, it's week 11... :)

All good fellas. Again I apologize to CaptMoe , and hope this game does not ruin our future games. Didn't mean for this post to be another low blow, but do see how it could have been taken as such. So I apologize for that as well. Nothing personal for me either, so let's get onto week 11 and put this whole fiasco behind us! Won't happen again guys!
