Eagles Outscore Redskins in NFC East Duel

    Quarter 1

    Philadelphia got out to a blazing start in this one and were seemingly running away with things. Mychal Kendricks started things off with a nice 62 yard INT in which he took to the house. After a Redskins 3 and out, Lasean McCoy would put the Eagles up to a quick 14-0 with a goal line run. Robert Griffin would come right back out and throw a 79 yard strike to Josh Morgan to make it 14-7. After a screen pass that went for about 60 yards, McCoy would punch in another and make the score 21-7 at the end of 1.

    Quarter 2

    Philly would start out the scoring in this one as well, when Vick found Jeremy Maclin for a 47 yard TD pass. That lead was short-lived; however. That's because Robert Griffin would again connect on another deep ball. This time to Pierre Garcon for 76 yards. Less than a minute later, and after a Philly turnover, Roy Helu punched it in and brought the score to 28-21, Eagles. With only 37 seconds left before half Griffin would again hook up with Garcon for a 85 yard touchdown. 28-28. However; on the insuing kickoff Desean Jackson made some fancy moves and returned the kick 105 yards. Eagles led at half 38-28.

    Quarter 3 and 4

    The rest of the game was a real defensive battle. Neither really breaking. And unlike the first half, we actually saw some punts here. The only points in the second half would go to the Eagles on a 56 yard field goal try. Eagles won this tough divisional match-up 41-28
