Philadelphia, PA - The Philadelphia Eagles were looking to regroup after losing to the undefeated Cleveland Browns last week. The opponent standing in their way this week was all too familiar foe, the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys were lead by promising QB Jimmy Echavaria and the leagues leading passing attack. Luckily for the Eagles, they have made huge strides on the defensive front since the beginning of the season and this would be a great test for the promising defense. Well you can consider the test passed on all fronts by the Eagles has they rushed out to a 21-7 lead and never looked back. The final score was 45-14. The Eagles defense picked off Jimmy Echavarria 6 times on the day. MLB Mychal Kendricks picked off two passes to lead the defensive effort. Offensively, the Eagles were extremely efficient. Bram Greenlea only threw 10 passes but completed 9 of them for 273 yards and two touchdowns. DeSean Jackson was the leading receiver for the Eagles as he caught 4 passes for 177 yards. Jackson's ability to take short passes the distance has allowed the offense to be explosive recently. LeSean McCoy was the workhorse for the day. He rushed over 30 times for 112 yards and 3 touchdowns to pace the offense. "The Cowboys did a real good job of stopping the run. The stats are bit deceiving for McCoy. He worked very hard for all of those yards. With the win, the Eagles remain one game out of first place in the division. Though the Eagles will need the Giants to falter down the stretch as they own the tie breaker. Good game Captain!
