Washington DC - The Philadelphia Eagles were feeling a bit low as they headed into the game vs the Washington Redskins. The Eagles playoff chances were on life support after two straight defeats. A third loss would have crippled their post season hopes. Luckily for the Eagles, they played perhaps their most balanced offensive game of the season. Bram Greenlea completed 15-24 for 261 yards and two touchdowns and more importantly, didnt throw an interception. LeSean McCoy and Bryce Brown led an outstanding rushing attack that combined for over 200 yards rushing to defeat the Washington Redskins on the road 44-29. A late touchdown by Bryce Brown made the scoring margin larger than the feel of the game. Washington was by no means ineffective in this game. Alfred Morris was a man on a mission as he rushed for 3 touchdowns and 128 yards. The real difference in the game came at halftime. The Eagles were down but were able to get momentum with a long touchdown drive to open the second half. Connor Barwin contributed with a huge game altering interception. The Eagles capitlized on the turnover to take a lead that they would not relinquish. The news was not all good for the Eagles. After losing starting DE Fletcher Cox, they received an even bigger blow when DeSean Jackson was forced out with a broken jaw in the closing minutes of the game. With the injury bug back with avengence, the depth of the Eagles will be tested. In unrelated news, Bram Greenlea was out shopping for Facemask this week. No word if any equipement changes are expected for the Young QB. It should be noted that Bram started off the season abysmally but has certainly pulled things together to right the ship. Greenlea hasnt thrown an interception in 4 straight games and owns a 19-13 touchdown to interception ratio. WR Demaris Johnson appears to be heading down the depth chart. Atleast once per game, the WR has made crucial drops on wide open passes. "We have worked with kid alot. We've upgraded his abilities so he doesnt drop really open passes but it still continues. We removed his facemask. The only step we have left is to remove his helmet..... While Johnson appears to be in the doghouse, WR Ricardo Lockette appears to have the inside track on starting this week against the Bucs.
