Philadelphia, PA - The Eagles headed into their week 4 matchup with the Redskins with revenge on their mind. The Skins were the only team to defeat the Eagles this far in this season, winning 28-23 in a rain soaked affair at FedEx field. This time, it was the Eagles who would have the home field advantage in the pouring rain. In a game that lacked for offensive explosion, the Eagles would race out to a big lead and coast to a 30-10 win. LeSean McCoy would rush 15 times for 90 yards and 3 touchdowns on the day. Bryce Brown would add 55 yards on 9 carries to lead the Eagles to the big win. Bram Greenlea wasnt asked to do much as he only attempted 14 passes on the day. The difference in this game was the Eagles defense. Last game, the Skins would convert over 70% of their third down attempts which kept a tired Philly D on the field for long periods of time. The Eagles dominated the run game for the Washington only allowing 39 yards on the ground. The lack of the run game forced the Skins to go through the air and the CBs for the Eagles found themselves with opportunities to force turnovers. They did just that as they forced 4 interceptions including 2 by league leader Derek Cox With the win, the Eagles move into the bye week tied for first place in the division with the NY Giants. next up is the battle for Pennsylvania as the Eagles head on the road to face the Steelers.
