    There have been quite a few surprises through the opening weeks of college football so far. A few that come to mind;

    • Marshall upends West Virginia in what is currently the final meeting of the Friends of Coal Bowl
    • Arkansas State delivers a 10.0 to the college football landscape as they stomp Oregon 35-15
    • Arizona tops Clemson in a Week 1 shocker
    • Marshall turns around in Week 2 and loses to an FCS school
    • Clemson comes back and tops a tough Ohio State squad in Death Valley
    • Week 3 sees Arkansas State take down another Top 25 team in Nebraska - Somebody was heard screaming "Go Big Red" as they attempted suicide with a leap from the top of the Tom Osborne statue
    • Week 4, Maryland tops PSU for their first win of the season
    • #8 Kansas State moves to 4-0 with a victory over #4 Oklahoma
    • Week 5, Louisiana Tech, Tulsa, UTSA and Arkansas State are all 5-0, with Arkansas State being ranked #8 - so much for the mid-major cupcakes
    • Pittsburgh blows away UNC for their first win on the season
    • Ole Miss is the aftershock to the Arkansas State quake as they upset then #1 Alabama in Tuscaloosa
    • USC leads the polls in the #1 spot under Lane Kiffin

My early season highlight is finding the buttons you have all been talking about (run commit, etc. and the "adjustments." I fucked with the adjustments before playing pitt. I think he would have likely beaten my ass anyway, but I had forgotten that I messed with them.

Of course, then I learned we are moving the sliders and here come the picks. Why don'[t we make all of the running backs fumble more as well. lol.

My wife is out of town through August and my new job doesn't start until next week. I have been labbing the fuck out of this game boys. I played HackGolfer at the end of an 18 hour session. I played Pitt right after i got out of bed the other afternoon. Lesson learned.

At any rate, I know that I have been a bit of ghost, but I am trying to get some time on the sticks while I have the chance with the wife gone.

I'm thinking Arkansas State is going to be the next Boise State in our league.

I must say losing to Purdue was a shocker for me. Still a little pissed off about that one.

I only think Arkansas State will last 1 or 2 seasons. I don't think we'll have to be scheduling them yearly like Boise. I mean, they don't play anybody in their conference even worth a lick of what they are. Nebraska, we saw how they are when ryty32 beat them. Not that ry sucks, but TMart does and they barely beat Nebraska. They beat FIU this week I noticed in the score update in game...it was like 17-14. They'll fall sooner or later.

Yeah, I was trying to not remind Tracy of the biggest loss to ever be suffered in SH history. Because I love him, and he is in Kansas and will come find me.:)
