Shaun Mason Is there any way to embed video directly from EA without having to upload to YouTube? This is what it says to copy to embed: <div style="width:656px;background-color:#353535;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:11px;font-style:normal;font-weight: bold;color:#FFFFFF;text-align:left;"><object width="656" height="369" id="flash_ep" name="flash_ep" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://web-static.ea.com/US/portal/media/swf/editorialPod2.swf"><param name="movie" value="http://web-static.ea.com/US/portal/media/swf/editorialPod2.swf" /><param name="wmode" value="opaque" /><param name="scale" value="noscale" /><param name="salign" value="tl" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#000000" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowNetworking" value="all" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="flashvars" value="configFile=http://www.ea.com/soccer/videos/ugc...m/soccer/services/marquee/config/localization" /></object><span style="margin:0px 5px 5px 5px;">See more <a style="color:#FFFFFF;font-size:11px;" href="#">Game Videos</a> at <a style="color:#FFFFFF;font-size:11px;" href="/soccer/">EA.com</a>.</span></div> and here is a link to the video: http://www.ea.com/soccer/videos/ugc/136960683
I'll give it a look again when I can. Long story short, I have been asked to do this before and back then (2 years ago now) the process EA used was this: 1. You download file to console. 2. You upload to EASW. 3. EA encodes the video. 4. EA hosts the encoded video on a CDN (Content Deliverly Network). The last part was the issue. Instead of the embed code having something I could pattern match against, the player code was consistent but the actual video URL's changed. One video might be /soccer/videos/ugc/1234 and the next /soccer/videos/abc/1234. So, I couldn't pattern match the URL to generate an embed plugin that worked consistently. That said, it's been a while since I tried, and in the above example they look pretty well defined. If you could, reply and paste about 5 more different video embed codes. Some from a couple different people would help.
here's one of mine: embed info: <div style="width:656px;background-color:#353535;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:11px;font-style:normal;font-weight: bold;color:#FFFFFF;text-align:left;"><object width="656" height="369" id="flash_ep" name="flash_ep" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://web-static.ea.com/US/portal/media/swf/editorialPod2.swf"><param name="movie" value="http://web-static.ea.com/US/portal/media/swf/editorialPod2.swf" /><param name="wmode" value="opaque" /><param name="scale" value="noscale" /><param name="salign" value="tl" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#000000" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowNetworking" value="all" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="flashvars" value="configFile=http://www.ea.com/soccer/videos/ugc...m/soccer/services/marquee/config/localization" /></object><span style="margin:0px 5px 5px 5px;">See more <a style="color:#FFFFFF;font-size:11px;" href="#">Game Videos</a> at <a style="color:#FFFFFF;font-size:11px;" href="/soccer/">EA.com</a>.</span></div> link to video: http://www.ea.com/soccer/videos/ugc/136982510 i'll post a couple more whenever I get a chance to upload some more

Norf kackliacky - Charlotte, N.C. Working on Firefox, if that makes any difference. I took mine from a menu item that allowed for Web site embedding - that now I can't get to reproduce; go figure. Does this make it any easier or harder for you? <div style="width:656px;background-color:#353535;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:11px;font-style:normal;font-weight: bold;color:#FFFFFF;text-align:left;"><object width="656" height="369" id="flash_ep" name="flash_ep" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://web-static.ea.com/US/portal/media/swf/editorialPod2.swf"><param name="movie" value="http://web-static.ea.com/US/portal/media/swf/editorialPod2.swf" /><param name="wmode" value="opaque" /><param name="scale" value="noscale" /><param name="salign" value="tl" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#000000" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowNetworking" value="all" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="flashvars" value="configFile=http://www.ea.com/soccer/videos/ugc...m/soccer/services/marquee/config/localization" /></object><span style="margin:0px 5px 5px 5px;">See more <a style="color:#FFFFFF;font-size:11px;" href="#">Game Videos</a> at <a style="color:#FFFFFF;font-size:11px;" href="/soccer/">EA.com</a>.</span></div>
