I've created a competition at ESPN for Euro 2012.

This is a manager mode where you pick players to form a team for each stage of the tournament.

    How To Play

    Overview

The objective of the game is to select a roster of Euro 2012 players and to accumulate the most points according to the scoring system.
    Name Your Team (Optional)

After selecting your team you can name your team by clicking on the link labeled "Edit Entry Settings" found on your team page. Your team may have up to a maximum length of 25 characters. Once you have named your team, click on the "Submit Entry Settings" button. Your team name can be changed at anytime.

    Select Your Players

In order to have a valid roster your team must consist of the following number of players from each roster slot:
    • 1 Goalkeepers
    • 4 Defenders
    • 4 Midfielders
    • 2 Forwards
    Scoring System

The Promotion scoring system is as follows:
      • Games Played = 1 point
      • Play 60 Minutes = 2 points
      • Defender/Goalkeeper Goal = 6 points
      • Midfielder Goal = 5 points
      • Forward Goal = 4 points
      • Assist = 3 points
      • Defender/Goalkeeper Clean Sheet (min. 60 minutes) = 4 points (**)
      • Midfielder Clean Sheet (min. 60 minutes) = 1 point (**)
      • Saves = 1 point per 3 saves
      • Penalty Save = 5 points
      • Penalty Shot Miss = -2 points
      • Goals Conceded by Goalkeeper/Defender = -1 point per 2 goals
      • Yellow Card = -1 point (*)
      • Red Card* = -3 points
      • Own Goal = -3 points
(*) If two yellow cards lead to a red card, then only the red card is counted (-3 points).
(**) Any goalie, defender, or midfielder who plays at least 60 minutes in a game where their team shuts out their opponent receives "Clean Sheet" points.
