Another plan is after the game don't post the results until you know the other team has finished too. Like in a PM of all 4 ppl say that they just finished the game and the second game can post after their's.
Well I think 4 of us being in a party and knowing how the other game is going on at the moment is most realistic
Spain 0 - 1 Italy Spain: No events Italy: Balotelli (41) Penalty Bonucci (7.0) Balotelli gets the penalty in the 41st, but it was all Spain from there. Italy just trying to find space to kill the clock. Spain hit wood late in the 2nd and had a number of dangerous looks to equalize. GG hammerhead1010
Holland 0 - Germany 0 Holland: van Bommel (59') Robben (90') Germany: Neuer (7.60) In a game that seems to be almost a carbon copy of AJ Hart MN 's game against Germany, the Dutch had the Germans pinned back in their own end for nearly the whole match. While Holland had a few good chances, including a point blank volley that van Persie put right into Neuer's gut (imagine that, a Gunner choking), they were unable to overcome the extremely stingy German defense that racked up 32 tackles over the course of the match. This draw muddles up the Group B picture quite a bit. While a win would have gotten the Dutch through, they now sit in a precarious position with 4 points through 2 matches. They now need at least a tie in their last match vs a very strong Bosnian side to guarantee themselves a spot in the quarterfinals.
GG man, you deserved the win no doubts about it. I honestly don't know what I was trying to do in this game. It's like I turned these big, slow Bosnians into finesse players and was killed by these counter attacks by the much quicker Danes. It would now take a miracle for Bosnia to go through.
Qtr Final Game France (0) v (2) Turkey France: Turkey: 56' Burak Yilmaz Erdinc 65' Arda Turan Yilmaz Burak Yilmaz (9.40) More shots and better possession was not the solution for France. Turkey took the lead on an unfortunate bounce that beat Lloris. When France started pushing more, that lead to another goal that sealed the deal. Turkey didn't really leave many open chances for the French to take but some far shots that were not really a threat. Gg elprez98
Ireland 3 - 2 Sweden Ireland: Doyle 73'Duff Doyle 77'Keane Dunne 87'Whelan Doyle Sweden: Ibrahimovic 57'Toivonen Mellberg 81' Ibrahimovic 90'Toivonen Ireland advance to the semi finals in dramatic fashion beating Sweden 3-2 after conceding the first goal. Sweden looked like the better side for the first 70 minutes, but in those final 20 Ireland found the spark they needed and scored three goals. The first two were in quick succession. Doyle's second goal appeared to be offside and in the replay it appears the referee may have missed one. It was the luck of the irish in that call. gg Timpegoose
Funny that Ireland and Turkey made their way to semis from the group of real finalists Italy and Spain. This tournament blows!!!
Also I was curious who was winning the golden boot so I made this spreadsheet. Not sure how to get it posted, so if anyone can tell me let me know. Otherwise I think this is the link https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgPL_hdHf4YbdHN1S3dHUExRY25keVIyeW5lZlA3Q0E
