An exciting game was played between these clubs that was not decided until final minutes of the game. Napoli took an early lead on a goal from striker Lavezzi inside the box. It was looking like they would control the game with the 1st half ending at 1-0. VFB was not going down easy as striker Cacau scored 2 goals in less than 30 minutes, putting VFB up 2-1. 2 minutes later Cavani took advantage of a misplayed ball by the keeper and took and tied it at 2-2. A late corner connected with Lucarelli to put the game out of reach in the 87th minute, as Napoli starts their season with a win.1-0-0

Nihat was substituted right at minute 77, and made a huge impact in the game . He scored the only goal of the game from a free kick . It was such a beauty , but thanks to EA they did not think it was good enough to make it to the highlights. Both teams fought hard to get the win, but in the end Besiktas grabbed the 3 points. The weather was aweful, but the ref and FIFA officials did not see anything wrong with the pitch , so the game had to be played on ice . Besiktas fans were so happy to see the whole 3 points after 3 games. 1-1-0

1Offsides 34 Corners 6Once again capacity crowd in Bremen was treated to a great back and forth battle between the local Werder and visiting Napoli.Visibly intimidated by Napoli's offensive firepower the German side started the game organized in their own half and middle of the field, trying to counter attack Napoli's efforts.Napoli was seemingly the more active team, but Werder's defense was able to neutralize their attacks.Werder also had some chances, but both goalies had fantastic games preserving a scoreless draw. The best chance for both teams came in the 90th minute when Lucarelli header beat Weise, but the Germans were saved by the left post.
Coach Vlad on the match :" We are making progress, but we still have a lot of work to dur fans can not be happy with our misses. We completely dominated the air,and our inability to put a shot on goal from inside 10 yards on corner kicks and crosses is absolutely embarrassing, and I expect to be addressed in practices next week.We also need to work on our passing in the opponents third if the pitch. At this level of competition you CAN NOT make as many bad passes, when trying to find our open attackers and expect to win.All and all a good game and I am looking forward to facing coach Nickaepi in the future"

It was a cloudy, rainy day at Stadio San Paolo but Cavani and Napoli brought sunshine to the home crowd, beating Udinese 3-2 for their 3rd win of the season.Napoli came out strong in the 1st half scoring 3 goals and going into half at 3-0.Napoli went to a more defensive strategy to start the 2nd and it seemed to be working until Udinese striker Di Natale beat the keeper to make it 3-1. Udinese did not let up, as Di Natale put another one in the back of the net to make it 3-2 in the 88'. Napoli were able to hold off Udinese late surge and came out on top with a victory. Fiorentina fans were seen rioting outside their home stadium after a controversial offsides call that kept the game at 1-0 at the final whistle. Fifa officials had to be escorted off the field by stadium security, due to angry fans throwing anything they had in their possesion onto the pitch.Napoli had ample opportunities to add to their only goal (Hamsik 16'), as they out shot Fiorentina 20-9. They just could not capitalize and kept Fiorentina in the game until the final minute.
The final minute will be remembered by a goal that wasn't, as a beautifully headed cross beat Napoli's De Sanctis that looked to tie the game in the 90'. The linesman immediately raised his flag and offsides would be the call, taking away what was thought to be the equalizer.Napoli felt very fortunate to come away with 3 points and their 4th win of the season.Napoli 4-1-1

Napoli's home crowd was treated to an exciting victory, as they were able to edge out West Ham United, 2-1, to earn their 4th straight win. It definitely was not an easy victory, as things looked grim early for the Italian club. West Ham's striker, D. Ba headed a beautiful crossed ball into the net to put their club up 1-0. They would hold this lead into the 2nd half until Lavezzi was able to put one in the net to tie it at 1-1 in the '67. Lavezzi was denied a 2nd goal by West Ham's goal post that would have gave them the lead.
The game looked like it might be headed towards a draw until West Ham hit a shot that literally bounced off the post and rolled horizontally on the goal line but eventually was kicked out by Di Sanctis and a goal was saved. This was one of the craziest non-goals I have ever witnessed in all my years of covering Futbol.EA sports decided it was not all that exciting as they would not save highlights past the 60th minute.
The highlight of the day for Napoli came in the 85th, as midfielder Maggio took a rebound off the keeper and headed it into the goal to seal the victory at 2-1.

Matchday7 had FC Schalke traveling south to Italy to face the always tough Napoli in a battle of 1 vs 2 in the serie B. A Tightly contested back and forth contest for most of the first half as neither team could hold to the ball long enough to capitalize on counter attacks. After a good showing late in the game vs Udinese, Manager ox tried the 4-3-3 formation and promoted Charisteas to starting squad for his accuracy and his tall wide frame on corners and crosses and it would pay off. Charisteas would get the ball in space around the 30yd mark and after one cut put the defender out of position, he kicked it right by the Napoli GK for the opening score late in the half. Schalke would not be done in the half as Jurado would add another goal off a volley to cap off a highly entertaining first half 2-0 Schalke.
Charisteas would add another goal early in the second half to cement his starting posistion on the team and put Schalke up 3-0 and put away the game. Manager ox told his team to settle down and collapse on defense and they seemed to build a brick wall around goal. Schalke GK Neuer would let one in from Napoli's Cavani but they could seem to put anything together. Raul would add one in garbage time to end the game with a score of 4-1 Schalke. GG Nick, GL the rest of the season and im lookin forward to the rematch.
