We did this last season in Serie A, so let's move it on down the ladder!

Please nominate ONE member of your own team for consideration as the Serie C MVP. Once each manager nominates a player, (process to be determined) will select the top 3 candidates. These candidates will then be put up for vote by each of you to determine the winner.

So post your most-deserving player here, include a picture and/or a brief summary of why we should vote for your guy.

EDIT: Two disclaimers - 1) The voting won't happen until everyone has nominated a player from their team and 2) Even if your team was terrible, you can still nominate a player from your team who you think is most deserving of the award. If you absolutely do not want to nominate a player, then post that in the thread.

Cacau. Dude definitely won't win (I'm voting for Boruc), but with six goals (and two games still in-hand), he has half of Stuttgart's goals and has been a solid leader in the locker room. It's the off-the-field intangibles that count!

I would love to nominate the two headed monster of Soulymane Camara and John Utaka who between them have totaled 50 goals and 20+ assists, but whe can choose only one...
Soulymane Camara, 26 goals and something like 13 assists to spearhead the French sides attack.

Gonna have to go with Jurri Jaskeilienen. Dissapointing season for me, the changes from Fifa 11 really were an adjustment for me. However I see them as an improvement, cuts out all the cheesers. Can't wait for next season.

I would like to nominate striker Fernando Llorente who carried the Athletic Bilbao offense with 9 of the 13 goals scored by Athletic in the 13 games since I took over my team in Series C. Without him it would have been a very pathetic attempt at running an offense for Athletic bilbao.

I'm going with Milan Baros... With two-thirds of my team's goals, he carried my squad to the top of the non-contending, mediocre Serie C heap. That's 18 goals out of Galatasaray's 27 goals at this point. Impressive considering he was always the lone striker/focal point in the teeth of opposing defenses in my formation.

And he's much better than his big brother, whose first touch was always hampered by his foot size:

Frenchie1916 I have to disagree with you, I'm going after Ronald. I think he would definitely help my offense. With feet that big you know he has to get a good foot on the ball. Or, you know, I could hunt this guy down......wait, I think this is a female but who is going to know.

Steve Davies, scored some timely goals and was up in the top 5 with Serie C's best strikers.

Can we assume you don't have a candidate you'd like to nominate?

This is actually a hard vote. I voted for Boruc, because that GAA is RIDICULOUS over 18 games played. On the other hand, you don't control the keeper, so while he may be your MVP, he's the one guy you don't have anything to do with. Perhaps your back four had more to do with your unreal goals-against. Unless a keeper has an insane record on PKs (5-0, 6-0, etc.) AND a crazy-low GAA, where the user actually controls the keeper's movements, I'd have a hard time voting for a keeper again in this category.

    My two pfennigs.
