We will go with us 9 for the fantasy game this season since there were no replies from the other 3 owners in Serie A. I will get a google doc set up with the players of all the Serie A teams and have that posted *hopefully* by tonight. Then we will start the draft as soon as I set up the random order, which I will alert you all with once that is done.

A couple things to cover first:

-We will go with teams consisting of 7 players (1 GK/2 DEF/2 MID/2 ATT). You can pick them in any order you want but at the end of the 7 rounds make sure that you have the required number.

-You CANNOT pick players from your squad under any circumstances.

The scoring system will be as follows:

*For each goal scored by a goalkeeper or defender : 6 points
*For each goal scored by a midfielder : 5 points
*For each goal scored by a forward : 4 points

*For each goal assist : 3 points

*For a clean sheet by a goalkeeper or defender : 4 points
*For a clean sheet by a midfielder : 1 point

*For each penalty save : 5 points (If we decide to keep track of these)
*For each penalty miss: -2 points (Again if we keep track of all of them)

    MoTM: 3 points

*For each yellow card: -1 point
*For each red card : -2 points
*For each own goal: -2 points

are positions determined by positions they are listed as in the game? or the position they actually line up in on the field? For instance, if i have a LB playing LM, for fantasy purposes is he a defender still? i assume this would be the easiest way to track, just want to make sure.

Kind of the reason I suggested guys post their starting lineups. The only way I can track it otherwise would be by the position they are listed as in the game. I will have the list up with the players split into DEF/MID/ATT to make it easy for everyone too.

Hannover 96 will vary the formation quite a bit, but the following players are the current favorites to see the most time:

MID: S. Huszti, L. Stindl, S. da Silva Pinto, M. Schmiedebach, K. Rausch, L. Andreasen
FWD: M. Abdellaoue, D. Ya Konan, J. Schlaudraff, M. Diouf

Four forwards rated 77 or higher...very appealing...am going to experiment with a 4-3-3, but at the very least, I'll have two great sub options when I'm down by a goal or two in the 60th every game

The reason I didn't take them had to do with their forwards and me having no idea who to play, lol. I might need to get some insider information if I am going to pick any of your players in the fantasy draft

Definitely starting Abdellaoue and Ya Konan. Schlaudraff will be the third if I go 3 forwards. I would definitely bank on all four seeing time in nearly every game, unless I open up a big lead.

I've been mainly running a 5-4-1 diamond with Gladbach, so a 4-3-3 will take some practice this week, but I'd like to take advantage of my personnel so I will definitely be giving it a shot.

I'll get the spreadsheet done either tonight after the Rams game, or tomorrow so that it's all set up by tomorrow night. Once I set up the order we will begin the draft right away.

Long story short, draft will officially start tomorrow night sometime and we will have until Tuesday night to complete it.

Zikry also, how do transfers (add/drops) work? We can just drop someone from our team at any time to pick up someone else?

after the first week (3 games) there will be a waiver wire based on points (lowest points get #1 priority). I'll probably open that up on Tuesday of every week

I haven't decided on a formation yet but the potential starting 11 for Anzhi will consist of:

    GK: Gabulov
DEF: Samba, Ewerton, Carlos, Tagirbekov, Agalarov
MID: Ahmedov, Boussoufa, Jucilei, Zhirkov, Diarra
    ATT: Eto'o, Traore, Burmistrov

Diarra is a CDM/RB and I haven't decided if he will start at RB since the back line is pretty thin as it is... most likely will be at RB.

Udinese will most often line up with some combination of the below:

    GK: Brkic
DEF: Danilo, Benatia, Domizzi, Basta?, Armero?
MID: Pinzi, Willians, Maicosuel, Basta?, Armero?
    ATT: Di Natale, Muriel

Most Used Subs: DEF - Coda, Mid: Allan/Lazzari Att: Fabbrini

Basta and Armero provide a dilemma, i think most likely they'll be in RM/LM, but their primary position is RB/LB with alternative positions listed in the midfield. I'll say most likely i'll play them in the midfield to start the season, but if i play with formations at any point in the season they could drop into defense.
