Discussion in 'TSL: Tradition Soccer League' started by RedAL925, Aug 4, 2014.
For all things TFSerie
I'm starting to replace old threads with new threads. Once we get closer to release there will be threads put up for the remnant PS3 crowd.
Some carry-over from the last discussion thread:
Here's the League Content announcement
A Twitch FAQ has been created to help everyone with highlights and streaming.
While we do not have an official commitment thread yet, please check your information in this thread to help us gauge numbers for the upcoming season. If your name is not on the list, post there and I'll get it added. An official commitment thread will be posted when the FIFA 15 demo is released.
Virtual Pro Clubs will be back for FIFA 15, so get your reps in with the FIFA 14 version of TF United here.
Reminder that a decision on controller scheme will not be made until we have a hard copy of the game and see what is available. In the meantime it would be in your best interest to at least try manual controls, in case we go that route in the new season.
Many of you have not yet joined the GroupMe chat. You can do so here: https://groupme.com/join_group/8619655/rUv6BV
You can join our EPL Fantasy League here. If you participated last season, you will be automatically entered when you create your team.
And follow @TFSerie on twitter.
Not as funny as last year's material but still fun to watch.
Can someone explain to me what the distinct differences are in controls from Semi-Assisted to Manual?
I can't wait for the Premier League to start back up. Bout the only one I can see other than La Liga MX and MLS
Technically it's less assisted than semi. Manual means, wherever you aim your analog the ball will go that direction. But it really doesn't because FIFA also adds in some player attributes to correct or mess up that aim. It's complicated if we go there. But simple approach, your analog aim is corrected less by the AI (most of the time). You see what I did there, you need a ton of disclaimers like that when you're explainin semi or manual or something else with FIFA
Now can someone please explain me the definition of relegation please!!!!
Mark your calendars..TFSerie season 14 kicks off October 8th
New reddit recruitment thread...please upvote: http://www.reddit.com/r/FIFATournaments/comments/2dc732/online_fifa_leagues_at_tradition_sports_ps4/
Short answer, semi passing and shooting still has some assistance going to your teammate or the goal, but still have to aim your passes and shots to get it right on the money, whereas manual just expect the ball to go exactly where you're pointing. Just note that through balls on semi are still completely manual.
GKs might have a legit shot at MVP if the video hype turns out to be well implemented.
Sad they are leaving Grantland. Part of being a hipster podcaster is accepting the fact that all shows I deem cool (anything NOT ESPN) will one day come to an end. Look forward to seeing them on NBC Sports, but pissed I can no longer listen to the pod on my 45min commute each week.
They're not doing the podcast at all anymore?
They said on this week's show it was their last on Grantland. No idea if they are doing a new one for NBCSports. I guess I really have to get back to listening to Sirius once again. Frenchie1916 any idea on this?
I haven't listened yet, but I can't imagine they (or NBC) would just kill it altogether
They said on the Pod this week that they'll keep podcasting, but not on Grantland. They said they expect a pod as early as next week, but stay tuned to their web site and Twitter feed for deets.
search for men in blazers (not espn), they have a new pod up from Monday
love these guys
Yeah its just on nbcsportsnetwork.com now
Calendar marked, I've informed my apprentices that they will be working more on jobs as I will be "busy" starting on this date. Cheers mate
October 8th..... what a beautiful day!!
The official TFSerie commitment thread will be posted next week
I'm going to post this part now, early, so you are all sufficiently warned:
Whether you're in or out, it is imperative that you post in the commitment thread. Simply follow the instructions in the first post. This will help us understand the numbers we have and don't have, as well as determine the plan for PS3.
Separate names with a comma.
