    FA question for Year 2

Okay, maybe I'm blind, maybe I'm lazy, and I swear we discussed this...

If I signed a free agent in year 1 for minimum for his current value, and he jumps value spots in year 2, do I have to adjust his contract accordingly?

    EXAMPLE:

I sign LOLB Joe Schmoe, who is an overall 58, for 2 points in free agency. In year 2, he jumps to a 62 overall, bumping his value from 2 to 4 points. Does the FA contract go up accordingly, or do I still just pay 2 points?

If we discussed this before, just refer the thread and I'll read it and feel stupid. Otherwise, discuss. ;)

if they go up, you re adjust, if they are signed above their value or if they fall below the value you signed them for, they stay the same. much like old vets who have big deals and have to be cut.

Okay. That is what I thought, but I wanted to be sure just in case.
