    Bucs receive:

DE Cliff Avril 83 Ovr B potential

    Falcons receive:

WR Tavaras Saint 81 Ovr B potential
    Bucs play a 4-3..;)
Avril would be there #1 rated DE
Bucs have 3 viable WR besides Saint with 92 Williams, 85 Benn, and 81 Stroughter as slot.

mmhmmm - and whats Saints speed?

    *edit* only 90spd.

This is close - he has 92rte running though - I think you need to sweeten the deal a smidge

    Saint
-good speed but not blazing for a WR - 90
    -good route running -92
    -good acceleration-94
    -above average hands-84
    -poor release-56

    Avril
-good speed but not blazing for a DE- 80
    -good finesse moves-91
    -good acceleration-89
    -above average pursuit-85
    -poor block shedding- 68

    Freeney in those same categories: Speed -80, Finesse-90, Acc-95, Pursuit-89, BS-69

I think you will be hard pressed to find too many 4-3 Defensive Ends that are better than Avril right now in our franchise. Compare his attributes to Freeney, Peppers, Allen, and the like...

Essentially one of the best DE for 4-3 for the Bucs 4th WR

Id like to get everyones else opinions on this well

I think the deal is more equal and maybe not heavily balanced in cpu favor... Though I dont really have a problem with it

It wasn't an approval from me, it was a decline for me unless the deal gets sweetened.

I see two approvals from Seachicken and Rush but I dunno if JMustang approved or not.

I am trying to figure out if Jmustang's was an approval or not, and get Johud's thoughts on the situation. Just trying to move on with free agency knowing where I stand.

    The way I see it...

Computer is getting the clear advantage here due to the fit of the team.
I did not try to take advantage of a CPU team by dumping something they could not use.

Bucs are getting an instant starting 4-3 DE that will be their highest rated player at that position for their 4th WR. What user GM wouldn't do that? Especially if the player they get is higher rated in return.

I don't disagree that this is helping the CPU - its an ideal trade. But value to value just seems a smidge off - is there a way you can sweeten the deal just a tad?

Honestly I looked into it to make it easier, but nothing seemed to work with my current to their current roster without coming across as a salary dump or meaningless move for the Bucs. I even looked into holding off after possibly trying to get a FA to do so, but I couldnt find the right combination.

My roster is pretty thin at this point. If I can not get the trade to go through as is, Ill have to rehash it later when my roster is a little more full.

@antcap24 - please include ages. This seems like old for young and cap offload to me now.

I could care less about cap, and if I needed to take a bench warmer to even the cap I will.

I do not have ages right now bc I am not near a console.

I can substitute a young RT Hunt 76 over 2nd year player instead of Babineaux
