Dub this one the meat wagon bowl as we lost 2 key starters and our kickoff returner to multiple week injuries in this season opener for a very challenging start.but the falcons moved forward as several rookies from this seasons draft filled in nicely.matt ryan lobbied for management to re-sign his favorite target in roddy white and the move paid dividends early as they hooked up right away to set up the 1st score for the falcons but the seahawks and the big play WR "Q" answered right back with a big play of their own and knocked out our starting CB for6-8 weeks with a broken collarbone in the process. the seahawks would score a couple plays later to tie it up 7-7.we battled back and forth until our D stepped up and caused a few TO,s in the form of 2 int,s and a forced fumble to build a 28-14 with 5:20 left in the 4th qtr seemingly with the game wrapped up but the seahawks had different ideas as they put together a nice drive and score with 2:09 left in the game.the falcons 1st 2 plays go nowhere now facing a 3rd and 9 we decided to go with a our new mantra"play to win every game every time".matty ice dropped back looking for the 1st down and made his 1st big mistake of the game and the seahawks took full advantage and took it to the house to tie it up 28-28 with 1:43 left in The game after a nice strike to brian hartline at the 31yd line to get within FG range.matt ryan looking to get better field position took a sack to make it 2 and 18 and looks like we are going to OT.but matty ice converted on the next play to get the ball to the 15yd line with approx :32 left in the game leaving an easy chip shot for the win.great comeback and great game.good luck the rest of the season
