@PepperNY Here is the original thread. You never accepted your invite the first time. Please make sure you are active and weigh in on the forums on ESPN. Thanks!
@BigSmooth33 Is your coworker still interested in this? He hasnt checked activity poll and he is ready to get the boot...
Yeah he wants in... If you'd prefer to have a TSO guy I understand, but he's a baseball fanatic... Let me know and I'll either boot him in the rear to get on there or you can replace.
Well no, I mean he's already in and has accepted invite., he just needs to get active. I already booted another TSO member (baggett), but make sure he is still interested please.
No problem. That leaves 1 vacancy. 2 if @mcyork doesnt accept... Who wants in? @KnightNoles @Scikotic @RedAL925
For those of you in this make sure to check in on message board to confirm you will be at draft on Sunday.
@Big Suge Knight @ryalaman @AJ Hart MN @dnf913 @PepperNY @briosu99 @babydemon90 @KnightNoles @bsta93 Alright guys, including myself this will be the 10 we will roll with for the season. Anthony Winkler got too busy, and MCYork has disappeared and not responded to emails or PM's so both have been booted. I thought this would happen which is why setting us up for 12 originally was a good thing. We are now a strong 10 interested people, so I think we are good. Draft is Sunday evening. I only have 1 who cannot make it (babydemon90), the rest have confirmed attendance. Look forward to the season, and wish everyone luck.
I'm gonna roll people.. The auction is going to be tricky however seeing I've never done one but really looking forward to it..
Lol. Well see Do a mock auction. Hell why don't we get together either tonight and tomorrow and do one
AJ thinks he's a fantasy baseball genius. If we didnt have some new guys, Id tell him to put his money where his mouth is.
Its an auction draft, that was the format we voted on. If you have never done one, they are excellent and a lot of fun. I sent a message out before you get here, but there are mockdraft rooms available if you want to practice. http://games.espn.go.com/flb/mockdraftlobby Just make sure you select an auction room, instead of snake. Once you do auction drafts, you may never go back
The way it works is the first player (draft order doesnt matter) nominates a player and a starting bid. You can bid on the player or pass. There are recommended prices as well as average prices players go for, but its rare a player goes for that. Sometimes over or under. Once that player is sold, the next person nominates a player and bidding continues. Each team has a $260 budget. We also have a free agent auction system for waivers. $100 budget for the whole season. This eliminates waiver wire chaos you normally see and makes you be smart in who you pickup off waivers. Once your $100 is gone, you dont get any more. I highly suggest doing a mock draft to get your feet wet.
