    Fantasy Football dilemma

So im 4-1 and tied with one other guy for 1st place in my office FF league. It's week 6 and i have 6 players on a bye... i've been able to fill out a solid lineup even under these circumstances. But i need alot of points from the QB position this week... so here's the question..

would you start Drew Brees at home against the Giants or Mark Sanchez at home against Buffalo?

    DEFINITELY Brees.

The Giants are good defensively, but even Brees' worst game has been better than/on par with Sanchez's best game.

There is the factor of adding Braylon for Sanchez, but he's so up and down, it's hard to know whether or not he's truly going to be a factor.

Tough call. Sanchez hasn't looked the greatest lately and their defense has struggled. If their defense rebounds, which they should against Buffalo, then he won't have to do much.

I'd go with Brees. Although he's struggled lately too, and the Giants are good, the game has potential to be high scoring. I'd watch Eli's status. I'm sure he'll play and if the Giants put up points, I'm sure they will, Brees and company will have to respond.

Plus, NO is at home and coming off a bye week, so they should be more than prepared to beat down the G men with an effective game plan.

I think you are going to be fine either way. Better QB against a Good D, decent QB against a below avg D.

thats just a silly question.....silly my friend.

Brees starts every week unless snow storm or Pouring rain. PLus Thomas is having trouble with that hammy again.....they will struggle running.

Also the tape is out on Shancez and you can run on that Jets defense further keeping the ball out of his hands.

yeah division rival and they have Lynch and Jackson......they are going to run until those guys legs fall off. If they dont they they will get killed....seems like a simple gameplan.

I mean everyone in the world knew that the Dolphins were going to run the wildcat and the Jets couldnt stop that for shit.

So the bills should just RUN RUN RUN!

The Jets weren't exactly killed using the wildcat, it just kept the chains moving...i think brown had 3.5 avg out of it...Henne if anything kept them good.

I'd start Brees. It's in New Orleans so they might do some work...Sanchez and the Jets are going to be in NY, it's going to be cold as you know what out there...who knows what's gonna happen.

really shouldnt be that hard of a decision..

NO, Giants, Colts are arguably the hottest teams right now...

Take Breezy, really no reason not too. You can say the Giants D is playin well right now but Id still take him. I mean Jets vs. the Bills looks really good on paper, but Sanchez is still a young qb, plus they may try to get the running game back on track also. Brees is a proven QB and a person you want in FF. IMO you shouldnt really be having a QB controversy so to say.

What about Julius Jones against Arizona or Darren Sproles against Denver?

Right now, I'm leaning toward Sproles because I think he has a higher chance of having a big day (and special teams points can add up if they start scoring a shit ton of points).

Jones..... take Jones... he is gonna get more carries... and Sproles chances of busting a special teams play are good, Jones is more likely to get a cheap ?TD and 50 yards or so.... where if LT gets into a groove agaisnt Denver Sproles only touches might come via special teams.

no more grooving for LT..........I think this man has lost his lightning.....7 seasons in a row of 300+ carries......the tires are flat.

That's my feeling as well. The problem is, Sproles hasn't really shown that he's an every down back so I don't think it's ever going to be a game for him to see 100+ yards unless he breaks one really long.

Actually, now that I think about it, I'm probably going to go with Jones. Denver has played VERY well against RBs so far and San Diego just seems to be falling apart at the seams (like all Norv coached teams).
