BU Crew making a charge up the table with a win over RedAL925 Amazing what happens when you start watching and learning the league. A little less Crew homerism helped too.
Yeah I had your boy Shuttleworth (you're a Revs fan right?) as Captain and that made the difference. I'm glad Di Vaio decided to put up 0 when my opponent had him too lol.
I actually finished 77th overall out of about 1,000 in the Crew group for the month of July too. Solid month. Thank god, because the Crew suck so I need something positive in my MLS world.
I think I'm in the high 300's overall, but June and July were solid months for me. Amazing what a little Mike Magee can do for you. Dude is a stud.
Not a damn clue. I think daddy bought him a sports team.... In all seriousness though, this group has only been around since October and its their first investment in a sports team so it's really hard to tell. Based on the twitter reactions he said the right things for the most part. It sounds like the family has some of that oil money too, here's to hoping we splurge on a 2nd DP
Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how that plays out. Saw a tweet that says he likes the color and the name, but not the logo so much. So we'll see how much goes into that. As long as rebrand isn't code for "Vegas" or the Miami Beckhams I think I can be ok with it.
He said he intends to keep them in Columbus so there's that. As a Revs fan, seeing DC's new stadium plan and now the 2nd-worst logo probably going away, this is all very disheartening
Yeah, it'll be interesting to see if the league moves a team or expands. 20 is the FIFA limit per top flight league though I believe, so Miami would put us at max capacity. Everything this guy is saying makes me like him more. Wants to sit in Nordecke (supporters section) for games, and wants to grab a beer with fans at the local soccer bar. Sounds like he really wants to be involved with the community, but he's unfortunately staying out of soccer operations for now. It's too bad he can't fire the coach tomorrow, the supporters would love him.
Garber is supposed to be talking about expansion tomorrow. I can't see them stopping at 20, we are there now with no Florida/southwest team. I think 24 is the magic number. Two 12-team divisions, 34 match schedule.
Ahh I misunderstood the FIFA law. The 20 team thing is a guideline not a hard cap. Leave it to MLS to try and break it, lol.
