What are your thoughts on a subsection of the forums dedicated to fantasy sports. Currently on the site we have fantasy basketball, soccer, we've had fantsy football and Ive run a football which will be returning as well as baseball which is entering season 2.

Lol. Why not? Fantasy leagues are a great way for guys to hang out and interact with each other that are not currently in Xbox/PS3 leagues with them.

Plus it's easy to fill openings for us commisioners if these are all consolidated in one space.

Just a suggestion. Still curious why the :doodie:

I would treat them like the shooters or anything else on the site. Just create a thread for them or something.

Plus, a lot of people put money on fantasy leagues, and we are going to distance ourselves away from that as much as possible.

Well I remember back in the day the 2+2 poker forums had the same policy (go figure),so to get into a league you had to commit certain amount of "cheesburgers" :)

Could also throw in the pick'em pool that I did for College Football and our NFL one as well into the mix. But here's the question, will we lose the number of participants if we separate these into their own board vs leaving them in the ones that they presently are? I know I'd probably end up going to the Fantasy section but how many others would?

I'll admit I thought it would be kind of cool if you could have a series of these types of fantasy pools, pick'em's, etc... turn it into an annual competition to see who TSO's Degenerate Gambler or Sports Expert is. Could also throw in a league vs league type of competition for bragging rights.

I'm glad you guys enjoy it, but I think you are missing the point of my original post.

We can't do that sort of stuff here.

They aren't officially hosted on the site (like what was suggested in the OP). But I was meaning to talk to him about it.

It's not a TSO thing, it's a David thing and I'm just offering my friends onsite to play if they want.

    So....
