FANTASY STUDS OF THE WEEK- week 9 edition

The wide receivers stepped it up this week in fantasy scoring, as only 4 RBs crossed the 25 point mark. Let's break it down:

Aaron Brown (Detroit)- 154 yds rushing, 2 receptions, 31 yds receiving, 2 TDs
William Treat (Indianapolis)- 69 yds rushing, 2 receptions, 46 yds receiving, 2 TDs
Ryan Grant (Green Bay)- 69 yds rushing, 3 receptions, 91 yds receiving, 1 TD

    WRs

Santana Moss (Washington)- 8 receptions, 164 yds, 2 TDs
Jamarion Bellows (Kansas City)- 7 receptions, 192 yds, 1 TD
Miles Austin (Dallas)- 7 receptions, 106 yds, 2 TDs
Chad Ochocinco (Cincinnati)- 5 receptions, 119 yds, 2 TDs
Percy Harvin (Minnesota)- 5 receptions, 157 yds, 1 TD
Hakeem Nicks (Baltimore)- 6 receptions, 147 yds, 1 TD

    TEs

Jason Witten (Dallas)- 8 receptions, 122 yds, 1 TD

    QBs

Tony Romo (Dallas)- 489 yds, 5 TDs, 2 INTs
Carson Palmer (Cincinnati)- 228 yds, 5 TDs
Josh Freeman (Kansas City)- 499 yds, 3 TDs, 4 INTs

    FANTASY STUD OF THE WEEK

ADRIAN PETERSON - RB - VIKINGS

The widely accepted #1 fantasy draft pick, and only carryover from last weeks studs, AP shows us why this week with a monster 46.4 point performance against the division rival Packers, leading them to a 31-17 win, mostly on the ground with 249 yds and 3 TDs, including a game-sealing 74 yd TD run in the 4th quarter.

    Ideal lineup- week 9

    QB- Romo (Dal)
RB- Peterson (Min) 2 straight weeks
    RB- Brown (Det)
    WR- Moss (Wash)
    WR- Bellows (KC)
    TE- Witten (Dal)
    FLEX- Austin (Dal)

Hats of to the Cowboys for having 3 players in the ideal lineup

Nice write-up dave, keep em comin...

McCallister looked to put up big numbers but didnt need too, solid performance after that 5 TD game though.

Also I've got a TREAT for anyone that wants it

good write up Dave! I hate having AP on my team, too ridiculous in this game....he turns a dive play into a 6 yard gain.

I think even I may be able to get 1000 yds with AP. He is that good.

Hey, Nicks also had a TD! You trying to lower his stud level? :D

Great write up. I look forward to this every week now. First time I have ever had a player on the list. Thanks for the hard work!

Thanks, I fixed it. I'm surprised that would be the only error I make. I definitely don't mind and actually encourage everyone to point out any errors I made. It is a lot of stats to go through afterall.

Besides Peterson, in the 2 weeks I've done this, the players listed have been absolutely completely different. It's really interesting to see that

I want to win staight fair and square. No Madden BS, no BS holding calls, no morph pick, no rocket catch, just strategy and execution vs strategy and execution.

Well, Peterson does turn dive plays into 6 yard gains, and he does run for 200+ yards on occasion. It's all legit or "fair and square" as you call it. It's one of the perks of playing with the Vikings. I would enjoy it while you have it..

Holding calls are also part of the game. I would worry less about what you can't control with the computer, and more what you can control with Peterson ripping everyone a new hole...
