    This right here is the media getting ready to make Favre look like the bad guy. I mean come on, doesn't "This is it" sound more like "this is the last season" than "I'm retiring"?

    This is a way the media can come out and say "Well he lied again" when he shows up and starts playing again after never saying he has retired. This is really sad that the media jumps on text messages like a bitch in heat and then puts them in their own words.

    Doesn't sound like he's retiring but if he is texting his retirement I bet he wouldn't receive the backlash that other stars from other sports receive. Leading a team on, then leaving at the last second? Sounds familiar
